When I try to play a video on YouTube the sound/picture comes through in two minute snatches -- never plays smoothly. Am not sure why?

Thanks for your reply. It is always choppy. I use DSL, but it also did it when I was using dialup. I use Windows premium Vista.

Does it play smoothly the second time you try to play it?  Or is it choppy every time?
