We've had them but they slipped our mind. Bad movies. Lame theater releases. Not the ones that you sit through and during small-talk later you find that your date didn't much like it either.
I'm talking the ones where 10-minutes into it you turn to your companion and whisper, "This is terrible! No way I'm going to be able to sit through this shi**y movie. Let's go now!"
Only one worst movie per customer. Videos/DVD's are allowed provided they were once a theatrical release. No made-for-TV movies.
Pick your absolute worst.
Mine.
"Escape From LA" starring Kurt Russell. Movie night at home with my wife in the late 90's and I rented some VHS tapes from Blockbuster.
Within 5 minutes Kurt's character makes its entrance. If memory serves this nightmare, he's in an alley wearing a leather vest and black eye-patch. He's supposed to look tough, but it's oh-so embarassingly silly.
I look at my wife, she's already looking at me (as usual when we're thinking the same thing) and when we lock eyes, she does her laugh with closed lips that sounds like a raspberry. I laugh and without a word, I get up and hit 'eject' without even rewinding the 5-minutes we saw.
Back into the box it goes!

Where is the cool club :(
The Million Dollar Hotel This is the movie that started my habbit of using DVD's as drink coasters.
