I was working on my Web Graphics folder today and some how I changed the format. It used to show the name of the file below the thumbnail and did not have that green column to the left. I have tried everything to return it to its original format. Can someone please help me?
What it used to look like (except it did not have that green column to the left):
Here is what it looks like now:

Ok, I was finally able to get the names of the folders back. I actually had to go out to my Web Graphics folder instead of being inside of it. I still cannot get rid of the green column to the left. Any suggestions?

Try
Tools > Folder Options
under the General Tab and in the Tasks section, select the Use Windows Classic Folders...
Is that what you wanted?

No clue I dont think you can get rid of that - I have the same thing but mine is blue (I never changed the color).
Ok you should be able like AE said go to view then choose Thumbnails and it should be fine - that is what I have and mine looks like your first pic (with the names). I'm in windows XP
Im running Vista right now, so id have to get on a different computer to confirm, but under View in the top of the window, you should have one that says Icon with details, or something to that effect? Maybe if you take a screenshot of the drop down menu under view we could help you out more- at least till i can get on a pc with XP.
I have tried everything under "View" and still cannot get it to go back to where it was. Grrrr!!
