Which Tattoo Is Most Important To You?

   I am not really a fan of tattoos. I think things look really nice but I just get worried that I may look dumb at 65 with a Tigger tat. Well I lost my son late in pregnancy and I just had to find something to keep his memory. I decided to go for it. This is the only tattoo I have gotten and last one. I had always been terrified of the pain but it wasn't so bad. I got in in between my shoulder blades. Its not that large. I had his actual footprints drawn up. I love it so much! Share yours...!!

My favorite one that I have is this peacock feather.
I got it done in Santa Cruz, CA at Staircase Tattoo. They have some amazing artists there. I also got my apple done there. The apple was kind of inspired by GUG. I always use an avatar with an apple here...and I loved this graphic...so I had decided on getting this done. Then, I realized it was from Twilight, and kept seeing all the endless hype about it. So, I almost didnt get it...I thought I don't want this now that it's freaking EVERYWHERE! but then I decided...why let that spoil something that I really loved, and meant something to me? So, I got it anyways, and I love it!

Nice shading on the apple. Im getting something similar (have it drawn, but not done) but it'll be a dead apple with a worm coming out 'evil apple'

I have one around my wrist to pretty much remind me to stay strong. We've all been through tough times... and I just wanted something to remind me how far I've come and never resort to bad, old habits. Of course, I won't be posting pictures because that's how I found my target all over the net.

Mine have all have some reasoning behind them..... My first - a tribal design on my lower back - just turned 18, going through a rough patch wanted to rebel Firstly the normal on is on my right side, my right side has always been the better side of my body (tis my best side Hope that all makes some sense? Have never actually said to anyone openly about the meaning behind my tattoo's and feels nice to say it ___________________________________________________________

I thought this one was a buddy of yours. Now that is real commitment there. I will not tattoo my hubby's name...this guy(or you) must be really really be dedicated!...I prefer the GUG t-shirts or mugs!

Thanks for all the comments. I love your stories. I always ask people why they get their tattoos and some just get them just because. I really think they should mean something but thats just me. Green--Irish angel...aw thats too cute! P to the izzle--date of birth and her initials...thats is so cool. I always wanted to get tat on my wrist. I won't because I'm a big wiennie. Did it hurt? I know some hurt more than others. Downgirl--dead rotting heart on my left arm ...Great idea.Yeah I've been there. Still have the problem in forgiving. Some people just SUCK!!!

It was one of the least painful places I've been tattooed so far. I went from most painful so far (my whole chest) to least painful back to back. It was nothing. "I'm just like you only shorter."

This tattoo means many things for different reasons. I call it the hidden dragon because you have to pay close attention to notice detail. To me it represents the hidden part of my personality that only a few people get to see. They call me the quiet one, but for some reason I always have a lot to say..lol. Probably my dead rotting heart on my left arm. It says never forgive never frget . I had been really messed up by some people in my life and I will never let them do it again nor will I ever forget or forgive them for the damage they have caused. You can see it in my avatar..

I have just one tattoo. It was a gift from my husband. A name he calls me is his "Irish angel" and we have 4 children. It is small and hidden(above my right hip bone) Only a very few know that I even have it.

all of my tattoos mean something special. i made it a point not to have one "just because". even though they are fun =) i have ones to remember lost loved ones and one to honor the bond i have with my stepdaughter. i also have a couple that represent my passions,dreams, and accomplishment of them.
