Okay.. since it was being mentioned on twitter... and I'm avoiding my homework... thought I'd post about it...

Fox has been airing a new show that they promoted over the Summer (evidently... I only watch tv on the interwebz so I dunno)... Called Glee

I came across it the other day when browsing through Hulu... and watched the two episodes that are up...

And... it's goofy... it's cute, but in a dumb and goofy kind of way... I can't think of what it reminds me of... some particular show crossed with High School Musical... I want to say 30 Rock, but I don't think that's what I'm thinking...

I lurv Jane Lynch... she's always hilarious... so her fairly main role is keeping me happy... she coaches the Cheerios (the cheer squad) and isn't thrilled with the Glee club stepping on her toes of popularity...

Anyone watch this show?? And yes, 'Gleeks' is apparently the official term for people that love the show...

I've been trying to think of what it reminds me of, and it finally hit me, a *very* toned down "Hamlet 2"

I caught the pilot over the summer, Boyfriend HATED it, I enjoyed it.  ("This is like when you tricked me into watching  Sweeny Todd, I didn't know it was a damn musical!")  Today I watched the director's cut of the pilot, and the next 2 episodes.  I'm in love, "Gold Digger" as the wife was measuring curtains was awesome!

Ew.... I hafta say when I read the title I got a little ill.... considering gleek also means: "projection of saliva from the submandibular gland upon compression by the tongue."

But, no, I've never seen the show.

*shrugs* I know... but it's Fox's fault... they have a Gleek or Geek promo too.. there are also shirts and shtuff...
