What's the friend request limit on facebook?

Does anyone know the limit to the number of friend requests you can submit on facebook?

I've stummbled across things like my old school and college and started adding people from classes, etc, then been told to "slow down or I'll hit a block".....then been blocked!

This has happened on two occasions and I don't want to lose my account.

Although I'll admit I was a bit over-zealous when I found everyone, does anyone know what these limits are set at so I can stay within them?

I just looked it up and apparently you can have up to 1500 friends on a friend list and can have the same friend on more than one list.  I'm not sure if that means you can have more friends in total but at least you know now you can have as many as 1500 Smiling

I don't know actually, but i'd suggest getting in touch with facebook if its not in the terms and conditions or on the help pages. That way you can be sure- it could be because you added loads of people in a short space of time, but again i'm not sure if that makes a difference.
