Ok this is probably a dumb question but when someone sends me a message here on grown up geek, I can't view the entire message and there is nothing for me to click on except delete or delete and confirm. Am I missing something?

Wow, i was always wondering why i got taken to some other page when i tried to delete multiple mssgs from juliek starting at the top,

The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked

Yeah that was something I discovered. Plus it makes for a lot less clicks if you have multiple IM's For those going huh:

ok everyone knows I love the site but for a bunch of genius why dont we have a little betterIM here on the site?  I mean no offense to anyone but just a harmless question. 

 

on another note I cant find smartmoms birthday thread????

OK I'm a day late on this one but here is a post that may help you.  I am glad that you found my birthday thread (thanks).

GUG's IM system

Once you get use to the IM system here its real easy to use (not that I haven't sent IM's to the wrong ppl at time - haha)

i use to share your frustration Baez. so i want to help bring yours to an end. lets start with theh GUG IM's. most forums don't even offer that feature so i can tell you...i'm thrilled with ours. i think that once you get past the learning curve with how to utilize the GUG IM system, you'll be happy with it as well.

regarding the navigation and not being able to quickly find or recall or pull up a thread, i too experienced that issue when i was new Baez. smartmom spent about 30 minutes on here teaching me. so with that said, let me redirect you to a thread posted by smartmom that will teach you how to navigate GUG:

ok hold, juliek sent me an im, (thank you juliek Laughing out loud)
but i already hit delete and confirm, is there any way i can go back and try 2 reply ? and if not, is there any way a non premium member can view someone elses profile to see if they have a myspace, so they could contact them through there ?

no, that is about it. it is an IM and the instant message doe not hold a lot of text so it will not be a long message unless the sender sent it in two different messages.
