Hadn't noticed this. If you plug this in, it will say "xyz hasn't posted anything". But if you click the subscribe to rss button on the middle-right, you get all the links that are posted by that user on their page. Though only external one can be followed if it's private.

how can you find someones profile # when they are unsearchable...??? is there anyway to find someone like that

Does it work if the person has changed their url from numbers to something specific (such as their name)? Such as

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=123456789 to http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=mynewname

I could only get it to work on private profiles with #'s

You can find their profile ID number by right clicking on their profile picture and selecting "view image". You'll get a url that looks like this: http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/somenumber/somenumber/anothernumber/nXXXXXXXX_somenumber.jpg

Where the X's are is the profile ID. Take that number and paste it into the code given for the links...

The user is not notified if you subscribe to their RSS feed- whether you view it, or actually subscribe to it doesnt matter. You're safe Smiling

You don't actually subscribe. The "do you want to subscribe..." page lists the link. So I don't think so. Try making a fake profile and checking your own links out.
