So who's waiting for this to come out?? November 21st (pushed up from December YAY)

Based on Stephenie Meyer's series, Twilight was the first book (I'll be finishing it today and going off to pick up the rest of the 4 book series)... I loooooove vampires and they picked a hottie to play him... I don't like the actress though...

Alright... this one I've been waiting for a while to come out... and they did one h*ll of a job keeping the lid on it... On the Twilight Soundtrack, Paramore sings the official single of the entire soundtrack. The song is called Decode, and they finally released the video of it today. It's premiering on MTV, MTV2, and MTV.com (which is where I got this)....

"I chose the title "Decode" because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward. Bella's is the only mind Edward can't read and I feel like that's a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. I would like to personally add, that she has the color red hair I want... so I'm a little peeved seeing MY color in this video... I would also like to take this time to admit that as much as I hate trees and nature, I would LOVE to live in a place that beautiful....

Now if only they would slip up and let Bella's Lullaby slip out.. you can't even find the audio on THAT one...

The best thing about this movie was Anna Kendrick. She stole the show in my opinion (and not with her acting). Any time she was on screen I couldn't take my eyes off her. It wasn't even fair to the lead female when they were on screen together, Anna's like ten times more beautiful. And her smile... *swoons*

I want it to see the crap that got deleted... the director turned that movie into crap... and evidently in editing they had to try and 'save' it...

Also I hear the commentary is hilarious... that robert pattinson himself spends most of the time bad-mouthing himself

But I had no plans to spend money on this movie... and fortunately, my mother wanted to see it and bought it for me... 2 disc set.. in the mail... she actually said she loved it...

We watched it last night. my husband liked it a lot. He said it made him want to read the books. I read the first book and thought the movie was ok. It reminded me of "the lost boys" somehow. I don't know what it was... might have just been cute boys and vampires., who knows?

omg.. okay I was NEVER into Twilight... UNTILL my sister made me buy her the movie! We watched it and I fell in love with it! I wanted to know what happened after n stuff so by Monday (I watched the movie on a Sunday) I was out to Borders to buy the books.. They kinda suckerd me though... I bought all 4 books for 83 bucks.. (i know i got jipped) lol.. so im reading Twilight right now! I love it!! & for some reson to me Rob looks soo hott in the movie (that i've already watched over 5 times in just 5 days) but in person he looks soo different... I did see the bonus & special features w/ the deleted scenes and everything.. its pretty good...

lol.. yes im a dummy... it was a package thing.. i think its the special edition collection.. it came with 4 post card like pictures and all of the books (4) are hard cover... I just couldn't wait.. lol..

LOL.. honey that was available before the movie came out. I ordered it for my niece's bday (and am now her fave aunt evarr.)

Yes, that's the one that came with 4 postcards, bookmarks, etc. I almost bought myself another set but since I had them I couldnt justify an extra set for no reason.

But you're right...you do have to wait for the shipping... even the next day shipping. I am afraid you are addicted. Especially if you liked that crappy version they call a movie. You will LOVE the books. ;)

animestrinity, wondering if you caught the blib about the twilight director bowing out of the sequel? where or what direction do you think the film will head now?

Yes! I came across that earlier this morning by chance... I've been doing cartwheels all day!

What this means, is that if the next one COMPLETELY sucks like this one did, then... it wasn't her fault... the synopsis to New Moon looks like they're gonna kinda screw it up, but I'm hoping at least the cinematography will be good unlike this last one.

I'm excited... New Moon was my favorite book in the series... but maybe it's because she goes crazy.

Most people hated New Moon for some reason... the only thing that bugged me about it was that after Twilight, Bella became a complete idiot... she's observant in Twilight, completely oblivious and dumb in the next three... But I think New Moon was far more meaningful than the rest... you end up understanding how crazy strong their love is for each other.... literally crazy... lol

I just saw the movie and I LOVED IT! Ok, more like i was falling in love with Edward, he's freakin HOT!!!! My hubby liked the movie too even though it kinda ended up being more of a chick flick than a dark vampire movie. Either way I really liked it and they left you hanging at the end so hopefully they make the rest of the books into movies because I'm not a big reader not to mention I don't have much time to sit and read.

I've already read the synopsis for the second movie which I believe will be an improvement... but the synopsis was WRONG... so I'm a little ticked.

I think it'll be more up Stewart and Pattinson's alley though, because New Moon is a darker book... it's really not happy until the end I guess... and even then, happy is a stretch...

I saw the movie a second time and it sucked less... it was tolerable ... but I still say it sucked... but maybe that's because I freakishly loved the books.

Yeah, I guess if I would have read the books I would have thought the movie sucked. I read the 1st Harry Potter book then saw the movie and it was disappointing and since I notice the little details a lot I could tell they missed a lot in the movie vs the book in harry potter, so after that happened i just stopped reading and started watching the movies because I'm more of a visual person. But I could def. understand why you were dissapointed by the movie, especially after reading the book.

It is very much a chick flick... it's very easy to portray one's self onto Bella... she's average looking, as is 99% of the cast... so no appeal for boys there...

The book is through her eyes, so you sorta become her... well a guy would have a little less interest in that...

It's nothing but her being obsessed with a possessive stalker vampire, and him CONSTANTLY saving her a**... damsel in distress...

There's limited 'action' in it.. I thought there'd be a lot more... and even the parts of the story that would appeal to boys, were destroyed... his attitude... the 'darker' stories behind everyone... all of it... poof... it's a very superficial movie... and evidently the main two actors wanted it to be a darker story... which makes them look like bad actors in the movie because they were doing the opposite of what everyone else was doing.... the opposite of what the director wanted... so maybe I can blame the actors... if they just gave in and made it all lovey-dovey tripe, then maybe it would have gone smoother and looked less ridiculous.

There was a part in the story that connected James with the Cullens... that was gone in the movie... that is actually the most annoying thing to me besides the crappy cinematography.. Alice. Alice was in a mental institution when she was human due to her... 'ability'... that they considered her insane in that time in history... well James is a tracker... when he sets his mind on killing a certain someone... he doesn't give up. Well Alice was 'bitten' and transformed so he lost the ability to kill her... there's more to it than that... but he knows her history and that's revealed to her in the end of the story... but was completely nixed in the movie... but maybe I'm biased because Alice is my absolute favorite character in the series.

There's not much that would appeal to guys in this movie... there are some humorous moments... but not enough to repair the damage that Catherine Hardwicke caused.... and definitely not enough to make this much to bear through for a guy.

I can't compare it to the Notebook because I haven't seen that... but I can't imagine it being more 'romantic'... the story, maybe... the movie... no... they dont' even say 'I love you' in the movie... you can barely tell they like eachother... they just seem like psychos obsessed with eachother... nothing a bit of medication couldn't fix.

I actually liked the movie--I haven't read the books, but I'll try and read them soon! The first half of the movie seemed to drag for awhile, but it picked up after. Bella's character actually irritated me with how she acts, and I hear she gets more irritating Smiling We'll see. I really loved Alice, though! She was so cool!

Hahaha, I borrowed the books from my sister, and gave them to my mother to read yesterday afternoon. She asked how they are. I said "I don't want to ruin them for you, but I will say that if any of my male friends rolled in dating Bella, I'd have to spill my drink on her, or maybe even trip her." Just sayin'.

Which I for one, am glad... I think New Moon can easily be put into the 2 hours... AND have time to maybe catch up on some character development that they completely left out in the first movie... and it can only get better... because if it gets any worse, someone will pay. *evil anime glare*

Okay... I'm actually coming across a lot of good reviews... which makes me wonder... am I crazy???? Maybe I was just expecting too much... maybe it *isn't* that bad if you didn't read the book.. Maybe I'm overreacting...

Oh... and shout out to Smoothie for hooking the Trinster up with location and phone number info for Imprint Entertainment, Summit Entertainment, AND Catherine Hardwicke... but I'll wait until I give the movie a second chance before I go tire slashing. 2na... if you find this info feel free to PM it to me, because who knows, it might be different... and when I voice my opinion, I want to give it every chance to be heard... not that they care who I am... but I've decided to change my major to Drama and take over Hollywood... they'll know who I am soon enough.

Oh, so... This was entertaining...

Okay... when you put things like that... maybe it didn't suck THAT much... so I'm down to simply blaming the director for cheesy angles... and spending half the movie focusing on intense stares between the stars...

Oh... and here's a mini-Spoiler for those who haven't read the book... I think it'll make Edward look less retarded in the movie... Edward can read minds... everyone but Bella's... so his random facial expressions and almost late responses... yeah... that's the reason behind it all...

The movie is pretty funny now that I'm thinking back on it... maybe my laughter was half bad movie, half entertainment... oh, and when he finally admits to Bella about his mind-reading... that's a pretty funny scene ... money... sex... money... sex... sex... cat.....

I said it was entertaining... not factual lol...

Oh, I forgot to mention one of the FUNNIEST things in the movie... Jasper... for background info, Jasper is the newest addition to the 'Cullen way of life' (as in not killing humans) so he's in a large amount of pain being around humans as he tries to control himself... well... throughout the movie, he looks like a constipated Edward Scissorhands........ no joke... it is one of the funniest things I've seen IN-MY-LIFE....

Honestly... now that I'm thinking about it... I'm not gonna mind going back to see Twilight at all.. Robert Pattinson PLUS Jasper's face makes the movie worth seeing in my book.

And... I still haven't gotten over how big Kristen Stewart's ears are... which is funny... I went to find a picture to show you... and... well... they do a good job hiding her ears... which KUDOS to whoever pulled that impossible task off.

Okay... enough of me being mean... I'm not giving any more negative responses to this movie until I see it one more time... which might be a while to come... I'll try to think only good things.
