Travel: Tahitian Islands ~ Bora Bora, Tahiti, Moorea, and More!

Anyone vacation in the French Polynesia? We are planning a return trip this summer, only this time we are wanting to stay in an overwater bungalow. Having been in the Tahitian Islands before, we do know the diving is superb. Snorkeling is such an underwater odyssey. Day trips and hikes are plentiful. And the locals are so very gracious. The food is out of this world amazing. And the pearl farms ....ahhhh...a must see and do adventure. For accomodations, we do favor the Manihi Pearl Resort. Although, we purposely are seeking a different type of stay this year. Anyone have a pleasant vacation experience to share?

Ok the closest I have stayed in the French Polynesia hotel at Disney 
My oldest son did stay at the Jules Undersea Lodge in the keys one summer. He went to "sea camp" he had a blast! It's a underwater hotel. Go to sleep with the fishies and wake up with them.
