Somebody tracked me on trakzor.  I wasnt logged in.  HELP! Surprised

Does this tracker show IP address? friend ID? I wasnt logged in but had just logged off!! I was using IE too! *horrors!* I really really need to know.

If I use Firefox, is there a way to block this one?  HELP HELP HELP!!  Surprised

Here's a thought - I'm guessing you're "not" signed up with trakzor since you're asking so many ?'s. Don't worry neather am I so I don't know squat about it either. But from what I understand most trackers only show the IP address of who they track unless the person tracked is also a user of that paticular tracker.

Well if that's the case for this trakzor too, what about signing up with fake information and making sure it's public. Might though the person who tracked you off???

profiletracker does does give you GPS coordinates. It links you to MAXMIND.COM which you can go to yourself and enter any IP address.

Trakzor just give the IP address. The person who tracked you can use that IP to figure out who you are, or not. The location of the servers is not necesarily indicative as to what your IP address will list your location as. It may list your correct town, or it may not. It may or may not list your place of employment. It depends if your company uses a dedicated IP address or not.

Actually Trakzor doesn't even show an IP, they give you crazy code like Pink123, and a city. If you have identified who Pink 123 is, then you enter it, and it will be id'ed as that person from there on out

Be yourself...... Everyone else is taken!

***edit*** well I was gonna login to Trakzor and post a pic of what they would see, but it's down. So maybe you lucked out even more!

It shows your IP address.

If you use Firefox, with adblockplus installed, you can avoid being tracked in the future.

Theres really nothing you can do about being tracked now, unfortunately.

So it will only show my IP address since I wasn't logged in.  *sigh* Ok I'm in the office and the IP shows in a different town.  It might show my company's name! shiatzu!!! This was on my fakespace!!!  *faints*  I will avoid logging in for a week or so.  Thanks!!

One more thing... sorry, I'm total panic!  This fakespace was finally working!!

Does it give you the GPS coordinates like profiletracker does? any other info? and if it only gives you the IP, this person might have no clue on who I am.  the IP is hard to track since the servers are two cities away from where I am.
