Trackers and sidekicks

Trackers and sidekicks

Does anyone know if trackers pick up someone going on myspace from a sidekick or other mobile device? If so what would the location be? Would it be where the person actually is, or where their cell service is located? The person I have in mind travels extensively.

I have a sidekick and blackberry and looked at my profile using both at different times and they both come up with ip address from the location of the provider.

Does anyone have a sidekick and would like to go to my page so I can check to see if it works? You can PM me.

Also, do sidekicks and other mobile devices get assigned an IP?

I think the majority (that work with image files) will pick up mobiles, not sure about others such as profiletracker.us. As for the location i don't know. If you have some confirmed hits of that person you can check it out of course.

I have two trackers on my profile and checked them with my vcast verizon web browser. The myspacelog tracker tracks nothing when I view my own page. Trackspace.net shows the hit as an ip address coming from Mt. view california, nowhere close to where I live. Hope that helps.
