Trackers on Private Profiles

HI...just joined. Have a question about private Myspace profiles. If that person whose profile is set to private BUT has a tracker, can they still see if I'm trying to see their profile? Even though their profile is set to private? Thank you.

UGH!! REALLY? THEY CAN?!

To be honest with you, I don't know for certain if he has a tracker or not. But I seriously suspect he does because he keeps changing his profile status or mood status directly after I click on the "View Profile" button, and these two things "seem" to change specifically to annoy me, too. Is there a way to find out if they do have a tracker for sure? HELP!

Run the profile though HITS and it will show you.  If the profile is private they can only track you if the tracker is in the headline (unless you can see the profile).   You might want to check out the thread here on how to block trackers so in the future you are good to go.

have you looked on HITS yet? just enter their profile ID there it will tell you if that profile has trackers in place.

I suggest getting tracking blocker on the Firefox browser, It is a lot more safe than IE. There may be some hits they will miss on a private profile but why take the chance?
