For finding deals, I have used, and trust www.dealnews.com They are well respected, and list many on-line stores you already know, and their sales. If you find a deal on-line, you can submit a post to them, and they may post it on their website. They also have www's dealram to find low mwmory prices, and dealcoupon for on-line coupon codes. Very reliable. This is the first place I check. Another is www.fatwallet.com this is more of a forum, but has hot deals posted, and also a free stuff section. The posts on deals and free stuff are rated by the users, like you and I on how reliable the post is. YMMV stands for You Mileage May Vary.
for general reference; newegg.com.
