The New Bloom of Spring Is.......

...just a few weeks away!

.....time for spring training games. hey batter batter!

.......the smell of sunshine, blooms, and a light march breeze.

.........the tingle of the sun on your winter white skin.

...........time to stop layering and break out the shorts.

......... ....short lived in my neck of the woods. gone in 2 weeks, then its blazing!

what is spring to you?

--Sweating under the leathers

---the heat waves shimmering off the black top of the track

----the Smell of melting Rubber being left piled up in the Corners

----the rich Sweet Fumes of race fuel and hot exhaust

---the scream of your friends and few fans as you come around the turn in the Straitaway

---The Wail of the ambulances in the distance, as you realize that yep should have been riding in the cold a little more before trying to be a badass at the track

-- the feel of the sun in your face blinding you as your trying to pass the guy in front of you

----the hot chics at the track wearing bikini tops and short short shorts smiling and waving at you and the other chumps on the bikes, while they are secretly hoping they get to see a wreck

----The Glare off the paint on my bike, the smooth feel of her Tank against my chest, the pounding Force of pressure from the 120mph++ winds created in my wake

-----The Look on my Dads face yesterday when I passed him on the Highway at over 150mph++ with three Staties in tow....

---the Awesome Feeling Of having Gotten my Liscense  Back just in time for the warm weather... wonder how long its going to be until I get it suspended again this year LOL

.....baby quail are all over my yards following momma quail as quick as they can.

.......the rabbits are up early eating the new blooms on my flowers!

I LOVE spring!

I'm in FL so we don't get a long spring - well I can't say that because our winter is like a huge spring where if were lucky we can get two weeks out of our sweaters.  However when it is actually "spring" we generally only get 2 more weeks of that and then we are into full hot as hell summer.  Summer is fun but it means hurricane season and uber high electric bills....ugh! So why you all are begging and planning for spring I think hummm I would love one more cold snap (not real cold like in the 60's) before we die of heat....todays high was 84 degrees.

OK I know someone is going to post must be nice but hey come pay my electric bill - which I might add hasn't been under $450. a month in yearsssssss   (my average is closer to $550. +)

One word - DAFFODILS... I love them, so so much. They to me are the epitome of spring!
