My NDN (newly divorced neighbor) I usually thread about, has me do periodic checks for her 17-yr old on the Internet to see where and what she might be up to. So besides searching via YoName and RapLeaf, the well know MySpace and FaceBook and all of the popular others, I read about one today that I have not heard of yet. TeenSpot.
The way I found the site is from an article that was not so favorable.
Anyone familiar with it? Have teens on it?
Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I just looked at their website. I'm assuming you have to be a teen to sign up for it but on the first page on a section that says teen message boards there is one that mentions a free porn site so it doesn't look like they limit what can and can't be talked about on the site. I kinda feel like it isn't one you would want you child on. (personal opion)
I've learned that whenever I decide something with kindness, I've usually made the right decision.
Well there you go free porn and teen site - that will get them lining up to sign up.
i know isn't it just sick what kids have access to these days? I can just imagine what it will be like when my 15 month old is old enough to get on the computer. It scares me and btw totally spelled opinion wrong in my last post! it definately monday
Oh I hear you - I have two teenager and one pre-teen (he'll be a teen in the fall). It is scary what they have already seen on the internet. We were talking about it in the car the other day and I about fell over when my little guy joked with his brother about a nasty video "two cups..." I about wrecked the car. It got real quite when they discovered that mom knows about the video and has seen it. If you don't know what that video is trust me when I say its very adult and NASTY to say the least. This came out of my 12 yr old babies mouth - ugh. When your kids get older and on PC's all I can say is keyloggers and lots and lots of prayers!
Oh as for the spelling everyday is Monday for me - LOL. I'm a fast typer and I tend to hit enter without really proofing (well) - yeah I know. I'll re read it the next day and go WTF?!?! was I saying here. Plus 8 out of 10 times my there, their, they're will be off - oh well love me or hate me....LOL
I've heard my niece mention it once when we were talking over lunch about social web sites (she is 16). It seams like there popping up ever where now. every life style, age group, hobby and sport now has a social website.
