Tattoo Help PLEASE !!!!

Well I have had 16 tattoos done on me Scabbing is NORMAL! doesnt mean the artist went to deep at all. Some people bleed a lot which makes scabbing worse. ALSO just because you have had tattoos in the past doesnt mean it will react the same every part of your body reacts differently. Sometimes parts of your body will reject the ink. scabbing should be over with 2-4 weeks the most. Also colors may make a big difference in the outcome of the tattoo. If your tattoo didnt scab Id be worried if they didnt do it right. This is needles constantly in and out of your skin UH why wouldnt it scab? If you cut yourself it will scab or scar. anyways i hope this helped. I say give it some time and take care of it maybe it will look better.

I Ddont know about red, but when the initial scab of a black tatoo falls of, the ink appears to be a blue but after a couple weeks after the scabs have fallen the black will come back and it wont look blue.

A good tattoo wont scab. Only one of mine did. I have three. If it scabbed bad this means they went way too deep.

This is totally true but it also means that the artist went to hard when giving you the tattoo or had a bent or frayed needle. It does take a bit more time for the TRUE color to come through and adapt to your skin but you should be able to make out the color now. My last tattoo i had the same problem and it took about 3 weeks to heal and that was the not so deep scabs. Just dont pick the scabs and hit instead of scratch. i hope this helps

i work part time at a shop. the tattoo normally will scab. (everyone heals different) alot of it depends on where and what ou had done. tattoos with a lot of color and detail tend to scab more. its normal just like a scrap on your skin. scabbing is a natural process for your body. if it doesnt scab you are keeping it too moist with lotion or other antibacterial ointment which can also harbor more bacteria for infection.  when the scab comes off (and if yours is already scabbing you might be a fast healer or had alot of color/detail done) there will be some traces of color. its the excess ink coming out as your skin is healing underneath. you should have color underneath and most likely your ink will be fine. just dont pick or itch the scab. when your scabbing is completely gone you can check to see if there are spots missing ink. sometimes the artist will need to go back and touch up. this is normally a free service. you can go back to check with the artist if youre still concerned but there is still no work that can be done while youre still healing/scabbing. the artists that i work with have given the following aftercare. wash good with antibacterial soap the first day after removing bandage. for next 7-10 days just let soapy water run over it and rinse clean. no scrubbing. apply non-scented lotion (lubriderm) several times throughout the day. just a thin layer to keep from itching.

 If you cant currently see the blue its possible that you had some minor scar tissue develop. Most reputable artist offer free retouches on yellows and blues if the color doesnt hold, or doesnt hold well. If youve had 6 other tats, and you think something is wrong- it probably is! I know each of mine behaved slightly differently, but something that big of a difference is worth going in to the place where you had it done. IMO, tattoos really shouldnt scab up. They get a slight crust, but if you keep them very moist with ointment, there really should be no true scabbing or scarring. Good luck!

all of that depends on the depth of work you had done. you should call or go see your artist and let them have a look. also, follow the directions they gave you for after care.
