STALKER (game review)

STALKER (game review)

Well I have been playing this game on and off since friday and I do enjoy the game. STALKER is a first person shooter set in Chernobyl in the year 2010, the area around Chernobyl is a kind of no mans land of treasure hunters, scientists and mutated beasts. You play a STALKER who has lost his memory and goes thru various missions and sub missions while trying to get your memory back.

I give the game a B+, the graphics are good, the gameplay is smooth, and the storyline flows pretty well. There are some elements of exploring which can get tedious at times, like trying to find an entrance to continue a mission. The physics are a little off ,takes 3 shots to kill a dog like creature and the same to kill a man in armor, and sniping is too easy with no movement while taking aim on a target. These are the only reasons I didn't give the game an A.

As far as cheats go the only real option with this game is using a trainer. Cheat Happens will be releasing a very good trainer to the public on the 26th or if you are a member you can download it now.

Overall I would say the game is a good value the game seems to have enough missions in single player to keep you busy for a few days (unless you are 12 and have the reflexes of a cat) and there is the option of playing online if you get bored.
