The Sopranos - Last episodes!
Ok, we created this forum area because the Sopranos is our favorite show - EVAH! The final episodes are coming up in a few weeks. Does anyone have any inside scoop? How many episodes are left? Is it just one, or an entire season? |

Holy Buckets, it's on in like 5 minutes. I never liked this show as much as Oz or Deadwood but now I'm still eagerly wanting to know what happens... I love the Tony character and will be upset if he bites it. Tho I think he may. I give it a pretty even 50/50...
I'm going into the other room to watch it on the big screen with the good sound system. Be back in an hour to post a bunch of spoilers for everybody- ha ha kidding.
How %^&%*&*( lame was that ending? Phil gets whacked big deal, and the 20 seconds of black at the end... what the %^&* was that about did they run out of film? or just clever ideas? I missed animal cops Houston for this crap I want my 16$ for this months HBO returned

I totally agree!! The ending sucked. I thought my cable went out and was so pissed that I missed the ending and then the credits started rolling and I just screamed THAT CAN"T BE THE ENDING!!! I was thinking that they were gonna do the ending of Godfather III when the daughter got killed. I thought that might happen to Meadow, because they kept showing her try to park her car ( for some reason). Terrible terrible ending.
I was standing in the park, wondering why frisbees got bigger as they got closer. Then it hit me.

My god, my heart was pounding the last five minutes.. The guy in the diner watching the family.. the black kids "looking suspicious", Meadow not being able to park the car then nearly run-over crossing the street (or so it seemed) .. then .... THAT?
I guess now we can all think-up our own ending in our imagination..

I liked the ending!!! the last minutes of the show had me at the edge of my seat...not to mention the fact that we'll never know what Tony saw when that door opened...

I'll admit my plea was a public service announcement. I was never engaged by the Sopranos and the chick who plays Meadow is just below Rachel Ray in my book of "women on TV who annoy me". I don't even watch Idol but was miffed when I accidently clicked on the Sanjaya discussion.
So let me put this out there - how does HBO end many of their popular series? That Sex and the City movie? It's finally gonna happen. Sopranos movie? Ya think? I think.
There's too much money to be had not to.
I know they were talking about a movie for a good long time now. It kinda seems a horrible ending like this was to set things up for a possible movie. They left too many things unanswered. Real life is sometimes like that, I prefer my fiction a little more complete, Thanks.
It makes you wonder how much "behind the scenes" stuff is controlling the story. Like Sil being in a coma- if the actor isn't signed on for a movie yet, they can just say he died. If he wants to do a movie, then I guess he gets better. One of the reasons I thought Tony might die is cause I thought I remembered the actor, Gandolfini, was tired of the character and wanted to do other things. Maybe since he hasn't done too much lately (Or has he? I really don't know...) a big movie payday seems like a much better idea now. It's a shame to think that the business side is controlling the story side so much, but often that is the case.
I know I wanted Leotardo to die, but his execution was a little too fast and unsatisfying. I don't have any idea who the character was that shot him! I did laugh out loud to no one in particular about the truck/head squishing thing. But honestly, I don't believe a lot of cars will go over most objects like that, even if they are in drive. Someone needs to hit the gas. My SUV is too heavy to move on its own too far. Maybe I should test this out with a watermelon or something...

Well I can honestly say that part was funny but what i thought was funny was after the fact when all the guys were standing there with odd looks on their faces and the one guy just throws up all over. hahaha my hubby looked at me like I was crazy. I'd love to see a movie as long as it answers all my questions.
The wire is also great and it sucks that their is only one more season of that. Foam your probably right the wire always has great episodes. I'm sure that one guy (god I can't think of his name for the life of me) the one who robbed marlo and all of them before the last season comes back and takes over.
I've been really disappointed this whole season. It really could of kept going but no we will never know now. I was pissed. Really I was I stayed up an extra 2 hours to watch it and it wasn't even that great. They made it like every other episode LAME! I hope they have other great series coming out.
The Wire has always been better than Sopranos unfortunately they only have 1 season left too, but I will bet the last season of that show will be better than the last season of Tony whines on a couch by a long shot

Ok, that episode sucked! The story didn't progress, no one got whacked, is anything going to happen before it's all said and done? What the crap?!
i just got the complete 6 seasons on DVD.. im on season 4 right now. I LOVE the show, to baad its coming to an end. Im gonna have to get the final season once its finished. I dont wanna watch it right now until i watch the first ones.
i read somewhere today that Chris is gonna get it....something like him and tony get into a car accident....and instead of makin him suffer, tony chokes him to death....i dunno
i love this show though....i will miss it once its over (p.s. dont forget Entourage....2nd best show on HBO....then the WIRE
did anyone see last night's episode?? bobby is going to get it!! i know he was drunk but i can't believe he went there with Tony....he is out of his mind!!
So what did you think about last night's episode....bobby is so going down for beating Tony's a@@!! Do you guys think Tony is just biding his time to exact revenge, (cause he is more like his mom) or was making bobby do the "job" enough?...and what is up with AJ, is he a pain in the a@@ or what?
I hope the job was enough, I like Bobby, but hate his damn wife...(Tony's sister)
I really think Bobby is going down. Either tony is going to have him whacked or he's going to jail. I can't believe he dropped the gun with his finger prints on it. I can't wait for the next episode!
....and to make matters worse, I totally believe he will go the way of Big Pussy and rat Tony out!

oooohhh i can't wait till the Sopranos comes back on!! this show is the best ever...i heard that Pussy is going to haunting Tony...we'll see....do you think Tony will end up in jail by the series finale?
I think they are more likely to kill him than put in jail. Maybe health reasons even more so than "unnatural causes".
Speaking of which: Am I the only one who thinks Christopher has deserved a bullet since the beginning? I'd like to see him get "whacked" by series end...
And I laugh every time I see or hear Paulie Walnuts, because I know a guy who could be his missing twin.
Ok so I just read about the first two episodes of this season. Here's the site if you want to find out the scoop. I do have to warn you it's a play by play so if you want to be surprised DON'T READ IT!! I would suggest not even going to the page because I'd really rather be surprised but when it was there in front of me I just couldn't help but "get a fix".

Thanks tlp95. Well I read some of it. I got a little fix. lol but the suspense is killing me can't wait until April 8th. It seen some previews of the Soprano's that because HBO had a recap of all there season's on Demand.
I don't have any real inside scoop......everything is always so hush hush when it comes to the Sopranos........ I do know a couple episodes have some scenes in FLA because a friend of ours got to work on the show for a few days and he lives in Miami...........but thats all I got!!
We love that show (it's a jersey thing) it's one of the only reasons I keep HBO......
Oh, it's a half season, huh? Still can't wait, tho!!! whatever happened to carnivale? now, that show was awesome, too!
I think it's a half - season, like 9 episodes. I remember reading they weren't supposed to be broken apart for so long, but for whatever reason we have had to wait forever.
HBO is going down the crapper. No more Sopranos, no more Deadwood (which I liked a lot more), no more Rome (enough sex and violence to keep me happy for an hour), and I'm still bitter about Oz.
I'm plenty happy Showtime just started a new season of Penn and Teller: Bullshit last night. And a new season of Dexter is on the way.
Reading this, you'd think I was a damn couch potato, but there's really only a handful of TV shows I really like...
Iamthedevil have you watched the new season of Rome. It's been on the past 6 or 7 weeks. Absolutely am hooked on that show. But your right there's really no more good shows. Their series are all ending. I really don't like showtimes shows well except for Weeds, but for some reason they keep cutting it off at the good parts!!
I've liked the current season of Rome, but it seems like they are rushing things, probably cause the series finale is tomorrow night.
Ahhh they could of made some good seasons out that show. Though my hubby is taking a liking to that new show Henry VIII. Haven't watched it though.

Wow I didn't know the wire was running one more season. I thought they would run that for a long time. When does the new season start.
