When someone views my Myspace Profile it closes their browser, help!!!

If you are using profiletracker.us which I have a feeling that some of you are. That's your problem. It was happening to me for awhile as well. You need to go to there forum, they changed one of the codes. Because anyone that was using IE, either shutdown, never loaded or froze up there computer.

It was updated about two weeks ago I think. Just go & look & let me know what happens. I used the new codes & have not had any problems since!

If your myspace leads someone to a different site or deletes the web completly, it could be the layout you are using. erase everything and start over!

The people are being tracked a few minutes apart on your trackers because they are most likely refreshing the page a few times to try to view your profile and they are having to re-open their browsers also. Even if they cant view your profile correctly, they are being tracked when the url for viewing your profile is loaded in their address bar.

I don't have a tracker and my friend says my profile shuts down her browser too, but it doesn't happen to anyone else who looks at my stuff. I think it has to do with your profile not a tracker and how their computer works. I told her clean it up and see if it still does it cuz I love my profile too much to take it down! lol

I've had a few people tell me my profile shuts down their browser as well. But I don't care--I'm not giving up profiletracker--just too much good info to pass up.

About the slowness of the tracking there. There were some issues, and my tracking went down to like freaking 20%. I was also using the blocker code to stop some stalkers from viewing me. That was part of the problem, they're having issues with the blocker code right now, and everyone is being advised to remove it. I did, and started getting better results, but still not near what I'm used to. I also updated my step 3 codes as well. I asked Terikan to check out my page, and he told me the characters I had in my display name were interfering with tracking. I removed them  and I'm back to normal again. Which is still only 70-75%, but I'll pay the $5 a month for that.

I've also noticed that my profiletracker isn't picking up nearly as many views as my other tracker is!!! What a disappointment...you'd think that by paying for this tracker it would exceed everything and beyond what the free trackers are doing!!! Granted I love the fact that it shows the profile, and also shows the email addy...which luckily for me I've caught onto someone who's looking at my profile and not logging into their profile but has their email addy saved on their login page!!! Needless to say, I've emailed this guy, and he has yet to read the email, but loves looking at my profile 4 or more times each day!

I'm actually looking thru the forum over there to see if anyone else is having this problem and what can be done about it.

This was happening with my with Profiletracker.us.  I do not have any other trackers on my page.

Profiletracker is also not catching the majority of people viewing my profile, Trackspace is. It seemed to work great at the beginning but now I'm wondering if it has a bug of some sort. Maybe it's time to cancel it, eh?

Why dont you take the code out of your pro and have a friend try to view it. If you like I will try it for ya just send me a link to your pro.

And if you're having this problem to ~A, it would only lead me to believe that others are experiencing it as well.

I'm having the same problem... The trackers I'm using are profiletracker.us and trackspace.net. Are these the same trackers you're using?

Hmmm im not all that sure but could it be somthing in the html codeing with your tracker?
