I turned off my son's sidekick last Sunday night. It was fully charged, but when i tried to turn it on yesterday, it just wont turn on. Nothing happens, does anyone have any idea what this could be? It's not even a year old yet.

Ok the outcome was that I had plugged the charger into an outlet that obviously wasnt working. When i went back to the T-mobile store, he plugged it into a charger there and it was perfectly fine. I, on the other hand was slightly embarassed....
nah, don't be embarrassed. be thrilled to death that you saved a bunch of money!

Oh definitely, I was very happy. I love it when it turns out to be absolutely nothing.
I totally killed one of my sidekicks by plugging it into the wrong adapter once. I had to get the whole piece where you connect ur charger to your phone replaced, and a new battery. Definitely sounds like a battery issue. Hope its nothing serious.
Thanks 2na. I dont think its the charger, so its probably the battery. It was pretty much charged when i turned it off so its kinda baffling. Anyway i'll try your suggestion.
i am not familiar with the sidekick but i did get some great google results. try this:
Sounds like one of two things. Either the battery in the Sidekick is bad (and won't charge) or the connection between the device and the charger is damaged. My guess would be the battery. To check this, if you can remove the battery from the Sidekick and put it into another Sidekick, you can then try to charge the battery in the other device and see if it charges. If it doesn't, then it is definitely the battery.
If you do still have another Sidekick, you can also try putting that battery into the new Sidekick to see if it works and if it charges.
Once you have determined if the problem is the battery or the connection in the Sidekick (and hopefully, it is just the battery), then I would suggest buying a new battery. Make sure that you get a new (not used battery) for the device from a reputable company. The wrong or incorrect battery can totally ruin your device.
