Why does everything I get into get canceled?  First it was "What About Brian".  Now I find out that when "The L Word" comes back next year, there are only going to be 8 more episodes and that's it.

The show is probably not suitable for the whole family but I think it is one of the best done "circle of friends" type drama made.  Lots of stars have little niche parts including Cybill Shepherd, Eric Roberts.  Jennifer Beals has a main part and my favorite character is Alice.

Any L-Word fans here?

I was a devoted L-Word fan for a few seasons...season 4 lost it for me. The writers have ruined all of the relationships that actually meant something and have run out of storylines. Now they just recycle the characters and they all play mix-match in dating, and it's just...not as good.

I watched the first season w/ the wife, but I really didn't care for any of the characters and couldn't get into it.

not a watcher but i do know we have some amongst us, which is cool!  i do believe the seasons are released on dvd box sets for those die hard fans.
