Sending your own ringtones to your phone

I was reading some of the other topics and I got a little confused. I have Verizon. Does that mean that I can't send my own ringtones from my computer to my phone?

I was going to get the new Krazr phone, but I wanted to know if it's possible for me to send the ringtones from my comp to the phone.

Sorry for replying so late.. Thanks so much for your help guys! I don't know if I'm going to get the Krazr anymore, but I'll have to see what happens! I really want to put my own ringtones on my phone, so I can't wait!

Marisela - I posted links in the "how to unlock" forum for Motorola - I know the sites have links to mod the KRAZR too (I modded my RAZR). NO need to buy any of the phone tools from Verizon... if I can mod it, anyone can! Good luck!

Yes, you can put ringtones on your verizon phone from your computer. However, for most verison phones it requires some hacking. Depending on the phone and software needed, it can be done either through usb cable or bluetooth. Once you get the phone, go to HowardForums and read in the provider thread for verizon. You'll find all the info you need there.
