Anyone have one of these? Know anyone who has one? All I've read are AWESOME reviews on it thus far- with the exception being that the web browser pretty much sucks. Im ok with a lousy browser as I use Opera Mini on my current sprint phone (due to sucky web browser on that as well!)
Any input would be appreciated!

I own a Sprint Store, and its a great phone. Browser sucks for surfing though, but is the fastest Ive seen on a cell phone.
Sounds rad! That is just what I wanted to hear. Looks like it may be my next phone. Thanks again Almost Evil.

The Instinct Phone broke record sales for Sprint. I do not have one but have heard good reviews.
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
I bought the phone last weekend. So ive had it for a week and a half now- I have to say, Im loving it!
The only downside that ive found is that there are no messengers for it, yet.
But you can use web messaging from yahoo and aol and those work fine.
The web browser really isnt that bad. Im pretty happy with it. I get super fast speeds- things loads nearly as quickly as they do on the computer.
the touch screen is super responsive.
The camera is so-so, but its 2MP, so i cant exactly expect high quality.
Call quality is great. Battery life is great. I LOVE the scrolling features, like in the contact section- you can scroll down through 100 numbers really fast!
All in all, I give it a 9 out of 10 stars. 10 stars when/if they add messenger capabilities!

I gave it a look when it became available.
What turned me off to Java based OS was the lack of a solid operating system kernel, unlike what you would find on the Palm OS. The OS on the Instinct appears to be Unix based but may not be as customizable as the Palm phones. This would basically mean that you may not have as many options in installing third party software on the phone. I'm not sure, but the Opera Mini may not be available for the Instinct.
BTW - if you purchased your Sprint plan through the ridiculously cheap SERO program, that program came to an end on July 12th. Current subscribers are grandfathered in.
RIP - Sprint SERO
