I don't know about anyone else, but I really find the recipes on the back of the soup boxes to be great. I also love the fact that you can pretty much tweak the recipe to your liking!!!
My absolute all time fav would have to be the recipe for the Spinach dip using the veggie soup mix!!!
I'm sure this doesn't deserve it's own forum topic, but I figured that if anyone else uses them as frequently as I do, maybe we could post the tweaking of the recipes.

I love those soup box recipes the best one I found was for a easy pasta salad with 3 cheese Italian dressing.
I hear you on that one...it's amazing how men fight us over using low fat ingredients. But it never seems to stop them in eating whatever it is that we make!!! Thanks for the tidbit on the mayo info, as I'm not a big fan of low fat mayo! Actually I hate it, but I'll make sure that I try that the next time I make it.

I won't eat it on a sandwich, it tastes kind of nasty, but all mixed in you don't notice so much.
I make that all the time, but I usually add chopped water chestnuts, sometimes some chopped scallions. I've also found that it tastes a little better if you replace 1/2 cup or so of the sour cream with light mayo.
LOL...Lady~I just made it like 2 seconds before I posted!!!!! I'm wondering if some of the mayo and sour cream can be replaced by something that's a little lower in fat grams? I swear that this stuff just flies out of my refridge when I make it. It's one of those dips that just kinda takes you by surprise with liking it so much. Maybe it's the fact that even if you don't like spinach, you can't really taste it.

I always use the mayo with the 2 grams of fat, never the full strength stuff, LOL. My boyfriend likes to complain when I use all low fat sour cream and mayo, but for all his complaining, he eats as much of it as he would if I made it full fat...
