last seen 23 hours 33 min agoA little while ago I remember reading about a new App on MySpace for tracking. As advised, I added "http://api.msappspace.com*" to my Adblock list.
So here's my question - does HITS block that application as well? I just realized my stalker has the app on her page (I actually hit her full page today for the first time, instead of going through HITS, and saw it in my block list.) But when hitting her page through HITS, the app thing doesn't show as a tracker. Does this mean she's been tracking me each time I hit her page through HITS? Or is HITS blocking it, just not showing as a tracker? Anyone know? Or care to give an opinion? Thanks you so much!
Thx, nvrsaynvr. Yes, I bet she's using some other (non-tracking) MySpace App, and that's what I'm seeing in my AdBlock list when I hit her page, and not on HITS. DUH to me! lol
http://api.msappspace.com/* blocks all myspace apps, so the app will not track you. however, with this filter, you will not be able to use any of apps or see them when you visit someone's page with your adblock on.
as for the hits question, i'm not sure...so will let someone else answer that.....
P.S. OR--- does the "http://api.msappspace.com*" in my AdBlock list block ALL the MySpace Apps? Maybe my stalker has some other App on her page, and not the tracker one that I read about in this forum? (Like the Truth Box, or something else.) Gee, that's probably it huh. Boy, I might as well dye my hair blonde today. Dumb me. Sorry if I'm wasting space here!

What is the truth box on myspace anyway? What does it do? i never really bothered to check it out.
truth box is basically a way that people can leave anonymous comments on your profile saying exactly what they think about you. at the moment, no one else can see the comments besides the owner of the app and there is no way to tell who left them.
