To gain access into the Trusted Member/Premium forum areas, and other perks:
- Be an outstanding GrownUpGeek.com member by making frequent, helpful posts; help other members that post questions, etc. Remember, we aren't all about computers. There are sections for TV shows, movies, music, animals, travel, health & beauty, product reviews, doing your taxes, even cooking! Just because you aren't a computer/technology expert does not mean you cant help others or contribute to the site! If you've been a member for a while and have made a lot of (helpful) posts and you suddenly see a new forum area named "Restricted Access Areas" then you have proven yourself as a true Grown Up Geek and have been given access!
- Spread the word! - If you spread the word about TheGuG by calling-in to a radio station, TV show, etc and mention GrownUpGeek.com - and can VERIFY that it was you (for example by recording it, which we will then cross-reference with our traffic logs) you will get free, lifetime, "trusted" premium membership!
- And last but not least, there is always "THE OTHER WAY"
