So my friend with a Mac needs to print out a PowerPoint presentation. I have the program on my computer, but she's in school and has to do this often, yet has no printer.
Her boyfriend has a PC but only has the viewer installed and his printer won't recognize her Mac laptop.
Is there a program anywhere he could download to be able to print PowerPoint? It would be easier for him to be able to it than have her email me the docs or using my computer to do it.

I believe open office will open power point. From there he should be able to print it. I have open office and it has been able to open everything else the misses has thrown at it in the microsoft word format.

Open Office is probably the best way to go.
I'm pretty sure there is a converter out there that would do the trick, but probably costs money.
Last time I had to deal with moving a Word doc off a Mac to a Windows PC, I had to make the file a Rich Text File (RTF) to print. This won't help you in this case , though. You'll notice that there is an underscore "_" before the file name when viewing the saved file under Windows - that denotes it was written with a Mac.

Thanks fellas.
I'll for sure point him in the direction of Open Office.
