is there anyway to view a private photobuckets if all I have is the username? can someone tell me if there are any codes that work and how does getting a private membership actually make it work, because i dont want to buy one and then get nothing from it. thanks!

if you check your cookies there is something called pb_auth it seems to be the key to being logged into photobucket
it rarely seems to change unlike a session cookie and its always some crazy encrypted string. I took mine and I saved it I then logged into another persons account and then switched the cookies out while logged in, after that I was all of a sudden back in my account. If you have access to two photobuckets try it out and tell me if it works for you. I use "web developer 1.1.5" plugin for Firefox to change cookies quickly.

Ugh. I've been trying to get pictures from a private Photobucket with the Fusker, but she has them all named different with her friends names so it's been impossible. I wish I knew how to get more info. on this. So, if anyone is willing to help, I'd be EXTREMELY appreciative.

Thank you smartmom. I was a premium member for a LONG time, over a year & last week I got an e-mail that you weren't working with Paypal anymore so I got booted out. =( . BELIEVE ME I KNOW it was worth it, but right now I just lost my job so I'm trying to save my $$ for what I REALLY need. Trust me, once I find a new job, I'll be back on that board.

I didn't know exactly where to post this, but I used to have a private photobucket account and it always said, "0 monthly hits." I just put my account to public and now it says, "270 hits." What's going on???? It says this happens from direct linking. I don't understand. Can someone please explain.

Well, if somebody views your album i don't think it counts towards the hit counter.
I'm not sure what direct linking is, but its the one you use to post pics on sites like myspace and such... Did you recently post pictures anywhere? Because if they visit your page once and you have like 5 different links (5 pics posted, i mean) then it will count as five different hits even though its only been visited once.
But, also when you put your album public, people could use the search option for random photobucket pics and if they happen to land on one of your album pics then, they could have posted them on their site and you get the hits when ppl are visiting their site. like pics of funny stuff, roses, etc. random junk.
i dont think its anything to worry about....

Anybody know if it's possible to have Nav.net search for named pictures? such as "tree.jpg" for example.. but like make it go through letters like it goes through numbers.
Example two: You can make it search numbers (pictures named with numbers, eg. 001.jpg) by putting this: 00#.jpg in file formats.
It will go through images like this: 001, 002, 003, 004, etc.
So anyways I hope someone understand what i mean! thanks!

there is not yet no hacks to get guest passwords or passwords for photbucket but using a programme called navnet, you should be able to view SOME of the photos. not all, and it depends on the connection.

now i will explain parameters, simply because the video doesn't.
if you want to be able to view more photos simply add more parameters.
Search parameters work very simply
1 open navnet and click on the Fusker Generator tab
2 notice the long column on the right hand side of your screen
3 Enter a search paramater there under "File Formats"
4 Here is an example of a Search Parameter for a Sony DSC camera
5 when you take a picture with any camera it saves it with a name
6 A sony DSC camera saves the pictures as DSC0001.jpg with any variations of the numbers.
7 99% of the time the first 0 never changes unless the person takes over 1,000 pictures in 1 time.
8 but to search for the saved pictures in a photobucket account for someone you know has a Sony DSC camera you would enter the following:
9 DSC0###.jpg This searches for DSC0001.jpg-DSC0999.jpg and then displays all the results
10 there are many different kinds of cameras and different kinds of search parameters you can add for example try the person's name or something of that nature.
here is an example of some parameters you might want to try.
picture##.jpg
picture#.jpg
photo##.jpg
photo#.jpg
IMG#.jpg
IMG##.jpg
IMG###.jpg
DCPO#.jpg
IMG_##.jpg
IMG_#.jpg
whoevers pictures you are trying to view, they may have a myspace or a website were some of the pictures from their PB account are hosted. if you want to find out what most of their pictures parameters are:
1) right click the picture.
2) go to properties
3) it should say something like /DC001.jpg at the end of the url therefore they may have more pictures saved in this format.
4) finally add the chosen parameters to the FILETYPES box on the right hand side of the screen and more pictures should show up.

Along with most everyone on this forum, I too, don't need, but would like to view a private photobucket account. I do have a little story to go along with it which, basically allows me to not feel guilty about it. If someone does have a way, I would greatly appreciate the information.

nope. none. we had the best photobucket loophole ever recently, then some jerk ruined it for everyone by posting the information he found here on his "myspace hacks" blog, therefy publicizing the previously well-kept secret on google which alerted the authorities, and it was promptly patched.
after enjoying the incredible ease of seeing private photobuckets which came with that loophole, the fun of fusking has dropped considerably for me.

The easiest way is if they have a MySpace account with pictures on the main profile page (not in their photos). Right click, choose properties....it may be linked to their PB account and voila! You have the answer.

Hi All!!
Little miss nosey here is wondering if if any of you geniuses can help me out......... Is there anyway I can view pictures on a private Photobucket account?
I don't care for the guest password but if it's necessary I would be interested in learning how to get that. I have no intentions on tampering or violating the account - just flat out want to see all the pictures.

I Beleive there was a topic on this already. I'll try to fill you in with a little of what I know.
You can only view one picture at time just by:
Example: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v481/profilename/anyname001.jpg
Just change the profilename into the profile you want to view and the name of the album(anyname if you know it). Lastly just keep changing the number on the end in order.
Sometimes it works if that person doesn't name each picture differently.

I actually find it quite funny. It seems like hardly anyone ever wants a code unless they want to spy on a cheating bf or gf, or their ex. In the past, I've seen some threads with about a dozen or so requests like this & they got more pathetic & exaggerated as the thread grew longer.
Like I have said before, If you distrust your "significant other" that much, then you need to move on & be with someone you can trust.

Okay, I'm a stalker-type mentality, and ever since this one girl filed a restraining order against me, I haven't been able to see her (at least, from less than 100 meters) at all, and I really want to wallpaper my house with pictures of her...
^^^ Thats why people don't tell the truth, because it'd sound something like that. T_T
My real reason is simple, the girl told me, rather roundabout like, that she likes taking freaky pictures. I'm not sure exactly what she meant by freaky, but I want to find out. I've tried guessing her password, but it didn't work out (pet names, birthday, simple stuff like that). I don't really need access to her account, I just want to look at these so-called freaky pictures of her. Yes, I'm a voyeur, and yes, I have no respect for my friend's privacy. So, anyone know of a way to view them? (The recent pictures exploit, while fun, didn't reveal anything of interest.)

Thanks for being honest about it. I know how you feel, I had a friend do that to me (tease me by telling my about it, and then when I asked to see she sent me a "teasing" pic but that's it). Unfortunately there isn't a code that works right now. In the private forum we have one of our guys working on one, but it's still in the works. Sorry I can't help more.

Well, it is good to know that people are working on it. Out of curiosity, do things in the private forum tend to leak out into the public forums, or would I have to subscribe to get access to the workaround (once it is finalized?)

Why is it always this problem, someone needs some photos from an EX, or from someone.... Do you really think that thier photobucket is the only place they keep them? I mean, IF it's true that you have an EX friend, that has some... "bad" pictures of you, and you get on thier account and delete the pictures or whatnot, It will actually make them MORE mad that you did that and invaded thier privacy, and then it will start a mini "war".... I know if someone did that to me, there would be a flood of those pictures on the internet, incuding e-mailed to everyone I know, put on photobucket, myspace, google, and anywhere else. Cause I know if the person has the picture on thier PB, then chances are they have a copy on a computer somewhere.
Point being, be honest, and maybe people will help. Other than that, if that is your real problem, I think you will have more luck and a better outcome just confronting them, and telling them to please take it down.

Making Photobucket codes is alittle harder & more complex than myspace codes. I've been working on one for over a month now & still haven't gotten it to work. But like jjbova said, there will always be ways around things. There are probably dozens of PB codes out there, you just have to find or discover them.

And by find it, do you mean become computer experts and delve deep into packets and code? I prefer to think you mean, find it when someone else finds it. >_<
Also, I shot you an email, just in case. Anything you can provide to help me betray my teaser friend's trust (see, honesty!), whether it be do-it-yourself stuff, actual bypasses, or whatever, would be greatly appreciated. (Same to everyone else, I'm not singling jjbova out for this inhumane task. I'm not that evil... yet.)

They are in the restricted areas for a reason - once they get out then they tend to stop working fast. I can't speak for jjbova but I can tell you that most members will not hand out the codes or tricks via email or request (no one I know will). It's not meant to be rude but if you would like to see them (and I will tell you there are some photobucket ones there now) then join the rest of us and become a member to the restricted forums. Besides the restricted forums are so much better - more fun (and were all friendly people there).
The reason why I replied to this is because I get PMs all the time asking for codes. I tell them the same thing as above.
