Not showing up under search???

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me with this. My profile is not showing up when I search for it by both name & display, what am I doing wrong? I want friends to be able to find me.

thanks amy but yeah I have my friend id already registered, Anybody else having trouble finding profiles? Maybe its a glitch? Like I said I emailed myspace customer service twice and I don't think I'm gonna get any help from them. I also went as far to creating another account and that didn't work either. I have no idea what's wrong, if anyone thinks of anything else please let me know.

Have you registered your URL yet? I have seemed to notice that if you haven't picked a name that shows up in your URL the search doesn't always work. And if your new you may not have gotten around to setting that up yet. So I would do that if you haven't and see if that helps! I could be wrong, that is just what I have noticed Eye-wink Hope that helps you!!

Someone mentioned how maybe I need more friends by the time it gets into the searches, I have 9 friends so far but I realized that some people have less, I saw one with 3 friends and their profile can be found. Any other ideas?

My profile is public but my friend has it set to private and hers shows up so I don't think its that. If I look it up by email I can find it but when I look it up by name or display it doesn't show up.

I found that the other day when searching someone, they appeared later tho. I think its either a glitch or if the profile is new it takes a few days to appear on the searches.
I'd give it a couple of days if you can incase its that, do you know if its a fairly new profile or not?

It might be a MYSPACE glitch, I had the same problem not being able to find a search I had seen in the past...3 days later I tried it and I found it. =)

yea myspace doesnt care....

u wont get a personal response back even if u get somthing back

p.s. its probly just an unlucky draw of a profile
u might have to wait for your profile to get more friends before myspace realizes its there

Well, I don't know how to help. I just tried several searches for people within myspace and it worked fine. I'm sorry, but I don't know what to say to help.

hi, yes I am searching from within. I recently just got the profile but a friend of mine just got hers as well and she can be found. So I was wondering if Im not doing something right?.......I see cswolfe, thanks

I've done searches today that I know to be exist, and know to be correct. From what I can tell, the search engine is currently wonked.

Are you searching from within myspace or are you doing a google search? And how long have you had the profile? I was going to check but didn't find a url in your user information here at GuG.
