Although I'm surprised that Carly is gone, I'm glad. Although she has an amazing voice, I find it difficult to connect with her. I'm surprised that Brooke was not in the bottom two considering her performance. I do think she has a loyal fan base though. I have to confess Jason is a hottie. I could look at him and hear his music all day. They are all unique and very different. I can see all of them being successful singing various genres. We'll just have to see who has the strongest fan base and it will be interesting to see how all this develops.
In my opinion:
David Cook-I can see myself loving his music and hearing it on the radio
David Archuleta- He is such a great kid with so much talent, he will definitely have success
Brooke White- I don't see her winning, she has a strong fan base and is very good but I can't pinpoint a specific genre for her.
Syesha- I think she'll be a great R&B singer
Jason Castro- Uhhh, I don't care what he sings as long as he sings to me! lol

When a contestant is voted off his or her voters don't just stop voting.
Examples:
Kristy Lee is a Country singer in a folky kind of way so her voters most likely migrated to voting for Brooke and Jason which are "Folk Singers"
Micheal Johns voter likely divied up between Carly and David Cook
Also, Carly sorta broke a Fo-pah
WIth the exception of Jordan Sparks, singing anything that might be considered "religous" or "Gospel"..no matter how much the audience there likes it... usually results in the contestant being voted off.
Don't believe me? Mandesa sang a "religous" song and got voted off, and a "religous song" put out Lakisha.
People forget how many catholics are put off by "Jesus Christ,Superstar" as "Blasphamous"

You know...I just wanted Brooke to get the boot because I knew she would probably have broken down! She can sing, but the fact that she had to start/stop was embarrassing and she shouldn't be doing that at this point in the game.
Carly so long, but you already had record deal. How about we let other in on the fame??!
I'm still banking on David vs. David as the final two.
P.s.
I have a fetish for HOT GEEKS!
So YOU'RE the one that keeps him in. Stop it! Haha!
This is a quote I found this morning:
I thought that was hilarious. Don't be mad at me Cat... I'm kidding with you. My wife likes Jason too - she says he's mesmerizing. And I'm the same way. If Syesha had a marginal voice, I would still hear an angel.
Hehe, your funny! I haven't voted for Castro although I am also mesmerized by him. I don't think he has the most talent but there is just something about him. I personally agree with David vs. David. If it comes down to it though I would go with David Archuleta. I just wish he was a little older because he just seems so innocent to be thrown into the industry. Oh well he has been singing forever so I'm happy his wish is coming true. And I do agree with hotmama99 regarding Carly. She already had a record deal and it flopped. And Archiangel made a great point about her singing a "religious" song. I was personally somewhat put off by her song. Keep in mind she didn't have my vote to begin with anyways. Can't wait 'till next week. Boah ha ha...
ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
