I just bought mine. How long til it kicks in? I haaaate not having access, especially NOW!!!!!!!!!

Hi Stain.. I got your 2nd email earlier today - sorry i didnt get back to you sooner.
Right now GoogleCheckout is the only electronic payment method that we are currently accepting. As far as i know, they accept all major credit cards from (virtually) all countries.
remember that you can also get free access by making many (helpful) posts and getting your GuG-points up - that will get you the blue-star badge and FREE, LIFETIME access.

Sorry didn't mean to sound hysterical and impatient heh. I have a Maestro and not a credit card, I might try to pay with that but it doesn't show in their icons showing accepted cards. Is there no other speedy way to join? I'll try to make useful posts but I'm worried errr 'it' might be gone by then.

Leo1979 - it can take up to 24-hrs, however, it could also just be a few. should you not have access by the end of the day, email your GoogleCheckout order# to: hubby@grownupgeek.com, and include your member name.
in the interim, you can also go to your googlecheckout account and use the "send question about this order" link (which is acutally the best way).
<MOD Edit> yes, when you login to gug, use either your email address or your member ID, but when signing up for premium membership, submit your member-id.

As pleasing to the eye as the purple is, it's being phased out, and yours will be replaced with orange.

All orders since last night have been processed and I'm not seeing anything with your name on it.. We do have a whole pile of orders that we cannot identify though(wrong membername, no membername, etc) which will be delayed becuase we have to manually figure out who they belong to.
If you can email your GoogleCheckout order number to me, i will search for it - be sure to include your member-name on your email. you can send it direclty to: hubby@grownupgeek.com

If you haven't received access within 24 hours of your payment, contact hubby@grownupgeek.com
Only the site owner has access to your GuG account information.

it can take UP TO 24 hours (as noted on the Premium Membership info page).. but yours didnt take long at all..
