Newer Version of Firefox

Newer Version of Firefox

Is it me or are there still some bugs with this one? Not to mention, my computer seems to have slowed down tremendously because of this...

Pick your favorite release here:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/

  1. Choose a release
  2. Click Win32 for Windows (or mac for Macintosh)
  3. Pick language (en-US for United States)
  4. DL and run the EXE

Not sure which to get? Version 1.5.0.3 is snappy for me.

I downloaded it a week ago. Had too many problems so I uninstalled it and went back to my older version. Go here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0.0.2/releasenotes/

I had problems with it too, uninstalled and reinstalled, still didn't work right, uninstalled all my add-ons, still doesn't work right, now I don't have the older version to go back to. How can I get it back? I can't get on GuG from IE, I need my FireFox to work!

If anyone still has this problem, you need to delete this d1rectory C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox after you uninstall, then re-install

I assume you mean 2.0.0.2. Here's a link for the windows client. I just went to their download page with all the links for 2.0.0.3 and changed the 3 to a 2. Will probably work for other versions too.

For good measure, the latest version is 2.0.0.3. I haven't noticed any differences yet.

Thats the version, I mean.  I have noticed a lot of differences.  I hate to have to uninstall it but it is really bogging down my computer.

I never thought to associate my comp running slow w/ installing the updates for Firefox!!!  So yeppers, I'm seeing what you're seeing.
