heeey yeah up the top where the box is to hide mouldes and stuff it says at the very top of the box go back to profile 1.0 click it and it gives you an option start from scratch or ok click which ever if you start from scratch then what you profile 1.0 use to look like is all scrapped and you start from scratch if you click ok its the same as what ya profile use to look like before you switched to profile 2.0

You can't - all new profiles created are automatically set to use 2.0 permanently. If you had a 1.0 profile and switched to 2.0 - you still have the option to switch back to 1.0 by clicking "go back" at top right of the editor. If we had a url that was used for switching back and forth between profile styles that would be kewl. IMO - myspace is causing too much confusion while they are trying to mimick facebook's style (2.0)

The majority of people probably like 1.0 better and people don't have time to sit around a computer all day to figure out how the new 2.0 works. It's been 1.0 for many years and the new changes turns people away to other social sites. Again - this is all IMHO :)

well i had my page for almost a year and switched to 2.0 like a few months ago and now i dont get an option to go back to 1.0 even thou i started my account with 1.0. i used to have an option to go back not anymore.. which sucks cause i liked 1.0 better than 2.0

From what I've read and what I've just tried, I'm afraid you can't. New account users are automatically given the 2.0 layout and no option to switch to 1.0 is given. That option was for users who already had a 1.0 myspace when 2.0 just came out.

True with a 1.0, you'll only see status and mood if it's private and not a friend. Though with 2.0, private users can still display their headlines to non-friends. And also catch you with a tracker Eye-wink

i am having some issues with 2.0 i want to put my profile private but some how when i hide all modules for just friends i am still visible on a mobile browser is still not private. but when i see it on my computer you cant see anything else becuase is hidden only on my mobile browser are you able to see comments and everything else. is there a private box that i can click like the 1.0 version? or am i missing something? i have seen some profiles that are using 2.0 and when i try to see it on my phone is private all the way and when i use my computer i see only what they want me to see.

i am so confused anyone help?

~nevermind i fgured it out you have to put profiel in on private on your 1.0 then every module you want to show on your 2.0 which is kind of weird but i tried every other way and if you never put 1.0 on private even if you put your 2.0 profile on friends only you can still see it using mobile browser. now i am just having problems with the headline tracker!!

So I switched to 2.0 and spent a lot of time personalizing it. I had turned my profile private while it was in 1.0 version and now no matter what I choose on the little edit option it says my blog is private and that my pictures are private. If I go back to 1.0 and change it to public, will it save my customizing when I go back to 2.0? Thanks for any help!!

If you try going back to 2.0, everything you had on there was deleted.. if you had a layout typed in, you can always save it in a notepad file or somewhere on your computer but myspace won't save it for you, it just saves your 1.0. So, all customizations are deleted. Sorry.. I found that out the hard way.. :/

Go to edit profile, then there is 4 spaces for photo's. One is your profile pic and there are another 3 other spaces where you can upload pics. These appear in the basic info part.

(Sorry for the dodgy explanation but I'm not able to access myspace on work computer)

Ever since I tried out the 2.0 my myspace page has been messed up. There are layers upon layers of image on the page, it is very hard to read and spaced out differently. There is no html code in any fields that I can find. I am ready to delete it and start again. Please let me know how to start fresh...with the same information, just with a basic set-up. Can I go back to how it was before? How do I start over if I need to? Thanks

I 'upgraded' mine to 2.0 the other day and have to say....

I do actually quite like it :) It ended up taking me a few hours to add some code to personalise it a bit but now and really happy with the way it looks. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think :) (The link is on my profile) Laughing out loud
