Just in case it matters to you: I've been stalked for several years by an old roommate. I have tried several time to end it through legal means but female stalking female is tricker to prove than male stalking female so she's still out there with out a real restraining order. I've moved recently which puts me out of physical harm (her car wouldn't make it here) but she's now started trying to cause professional trouble for me including having a co-worker relay false information to my former boss. She contacted me a week ago saying she'd added some of my new co-workers to her MySpace and that I should see what she's tellin them. Since legal means don't work, I have found that knowing what she's saying is my best weapon so I checked and she's posted a preferred list only blog and seems to have the profiles of people I work with in her friends. I'm about 80% sure she will email me what it said soon becuase I used a proxy to view her profile rather than give her the satisfaction of seeing me on her tracker map, but i prefer to be prepared.
I thought our court situation was crazy! Y'all have us beat! Good luck with everything...I hope everyone's situations work out...

I tried to PM you, but you are not accepting emails. I've been through this, and was able to get the girl convicted of stalking and harassment AND even a week in prison along with a years probation. I also have a stalker who visits my page constantly and who sends me messages through myspace. She (my stalker) used to date my boyfriend and can't stand the fact that we're together and have a child..ect. She's gone so far as to say God was going to make my infant retarded...can you say psycho? Finally my boyfriend blew up and wrote a nasty message to her after months of her and her mother harassing me and messaging me. She called the cops and now has a restraining order on him. She's like the "little wh*re who cried wolf." Basically I need your legal advice for the court case. I need to know if the copies of the messages she sent is enough or if I have to get some sort of court order to retrieve the documents right from myspace? Also, if the stuff she posts on her page is usable or just the messages? I've tried to contact myspace 4 times to no avail to have her removed. please help.
Just out of curiosity - how did the old room mate find out who your new co-workers are?
And have you notified your former boss and new one that you do have this person harassing you?
Her behavior is very high school-ish - you have to realize if these new co-workers don't know her personally, they should be mature enough to take anything defamatory posted on myspace with a grain of salt.
Well how about creating a fake profile and have it become one of your friends with your real profile. Act like you are friends from work or a social friend. I dunno maybe stage some comments on your real profile from your fake and then on your fakes profile you can add some comments. Hell maybe even have a fake little argument with your self so that will draw in the stalker to your fake. Maybe your stocker will hit up your fake and then you can really see what your stocker has to say. It might be interesting to see how she PM's you to be a friend. As for the not being caught on her tracker - why don't you block trackers then she will never see you. Here is some info on starting up a fake if your interested in the idea.
