Myspace search on new layout

Myspace search on new layout
Is it just me, or does anyone else NOT like it. It's showing me 500 results fro everything I search. I think maybe because you can't pick whether you'd like to search by full name or display name. I'm not liking it AT ALL. Or am I missing something? |

Personally I like it. I'm glad we can finally filter search results by gender and age, but I don't like a couple things, like how 500 results come back no matter what you search for..that's strange. But I love everything else, all my beefs are with the search system and I like some of the new parts of that, just not all of them.

They seemed to have fixed it so that you do not get as many results. At least some of the searches I have done are comming up with less results.

well, i'm trying to do a search, and i'm getting this....
so, hopefully things will be better soon.
I have no idea why they changed it. How can they think this is better?

ive noticed that you have log out twice now to become completely logged out.
OK, i read thru this thread a little earlier, and didn't have anything to complain about yet...i thought...hmmm...strange.
BUT...now i do...and it's a BIGGY for me, and i'm a little peeved.
when i go to my "blog control" area, there is that link to
"FIND USERS TO ADD TO YOUR PREFERRED LIST"
so, now, when you click on that link, and perform a search thru the new sucky search....there is NO LINK to the right of the name like there used to be to "add this person to your preferred list"
that better get fixed soon. ugh....

I don't like alot of new changes that myspace did. Yes it looks a little cleaner but geez atleast give us the option to have it the old way. I agree the search SUCKS
I've noticed that, too, freaking annoying. I used to get 3 results for my full name, now I get 500. If I'm getting that many results for my somewhat unique name, how the hell am I supposed to figure out which of the 500 Andy Choi's is the one I'm looking for??? Grrr, I don't like it one bit.

The other thing is if the person you are looking for is 501 you will never see their profile display.
