I recently had a MySpace layout, then I deleted the code and put a new one in for a new layout. But the old one keeps showing up. If I delete this new code my page appears to have no layout, but if I look at the top right or bottom right(past the Home Browse Search etc thing) I can still see the corner of my original layout. Anyone no how to fix this?

Ok - on a few profiles - I see a huge white square smack-dab in the middle of their layout. Does anyone know what that is? It blocks the view of some of their top friends and first few comments. TIA!
Hi. Already got a layout that includes a background image. I just want to add an image that displays on the left side of my profile pic. Like butts up right against the left edge of the profile pic. Searched high and low and can't find a bit of code to add that will do this, and do it without affecting the existing background.
Thanks for any help!
Did you add the layout through "edit profile", or did you use the MySpace Profile
Mangler, er...Editor?"How do you know I'm mad?" asked Alice.
"You must be", said the cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here"
I used MySpaceeditor.com, so I put it in my about me section. I've used this site before and never had any problems until now.
I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant the old layout, the one that won't quite go away. If you used the MySpace piece of garbage to make it, it can be REALLY difficult to get rid of.
"How do you know I'm mad?" asked Alice.
"You must be", said the cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here"
I used the same thing for both, MySpaceeditor.com. If it's any help, my new layout pops up for a second, then the old one overlaps it.
Dunno, then. My only suggestion is a long shot in this case. Go into the MySpace editor, and hit "clear all" a whole bunch of times.
I'm wondering, though, if this is a problem only you're seeing, or if anyone who views your page is seeing it. If it's just you, have you tried dumping cache and cookies, etc?

I've gone into IE and looked on my fake profile and still had the same problem. Don't know if people on completely different computers can see it or not. I'll try the clear thing though.
When I cleared the color and everything, it does the same thing it did before but now it overlaps it with white. I guess I must've tried to use the MySpace editor at one time because that's definitely what's screwing it up.
Thanks for the help.
Got it to work! Thanks a lot.
Very cool!

Try using the official GUG profile editor
"To err is human--and to blame it on a computer is even more so."
-. --- / -. . .-- / -.-. --- -.. . ... / ... - --- .--. / .- ... -.- .. -. --.
Delete all your code using safe mode on myspace, then check your profile it should be empty
if it is then use your new layout
"To err is human--and to blame it on a computer is even more so."
-. --- / -. . .-- / -.-. --- -.. . ... / ... - --- .--. / .- ... -.- .. -. --.
Tried that, still had the same problem.
