another Myspace glitch?

another Myspace glitch?

So, I know that over the past day or so, there have been glitches all over the place, but now I can't even log in, and mostly can't even make it to the MySpace main page. I'm using Firefox, and it gives me an error message saying,

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies."

Well, I have cookies enabled, and just in case, I added MySpace to the exceptions list too.
So, I thought I'd give Internet Explorer a try, but all I get is the "Page cannot be displayed" message. I even tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet, and it did nothing.
I'm talking with a friend right now, and she says she has no problem logging in.
Does anyone have the same problem, or maybe an idea as to what's going on??

myspace glitch.

i have this layout for myspace and i made it myself.
when i got tired of it i took the code off and made another layout.
but when i put on another code for my new layout, hit the "save all changes" button, and viewed my profile, the same older layout was under the new layout.
and i tried to fix it but it wouldn't work.
so i took off everything and it was still there.
is there any way to fix it or do i just make a new myspace?
i don't want to go through all the trouble making a new myspace and finding all of my friends again.
so i thought maybe there would be a person that could help me with this problem.

so if anyone knows how i can deal with this then yeah. you know what to do.

I can log in, but it keeps sending me new friend reqwests and new messages when i dont have any. It also says that there are peeple online now when they really arent.

Whenever I try to log in and it gives me the error message, it actually does log you in, click something other than Home, try Blog or Favorites or Mail, it will take you to that page, then you can click Home and it works.  Don't know why seems like the path between the login page and the home page is the glitch.

Just thought Id throw this out here...I was getting a message from myspacemozilla telling methe website I entered...myspace.com...was possibly someone phishing...so I just went to google and clicked on the link http://collect.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=disabled and got this message...hope it provides some comfort??? "The function that you are currently trying to use is disabled and wil. be back shortly. We are making some minor changes to this section. Please bear with us until we can get this back online. Please do NOT email me about this. Just wait it out. 2/2/2007 TOM"

YUP THATS WHAT I'VE RESORTED TO DOING. IS YOUR IP ADDRESS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE FLICKERING BETWEEN OPENING PAGE AND WEBSITE FOUND BECAUSE MINE WAS WHEN I WAS TRYING. BUT LIKE YOU SAID HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE FIXED SOON.

Oh sorry one more thing to add.I just tried something different, I actually can get on using a circumventor page(I know weird) which I don't like doing because is not secure. But that might help u out till the problem or whatever is fixed.

I tried a couple different proxies, and can now get to the main page, but I still can't log in. I guess I'll have to wait for MySpace to fix whatever is going on...

Wow i should have read your post sorry. I am having the exact same problem! I have rr and my best friend next door uses the wireless. Its snowing like crazy here yet she has no problems and I can't get on. I was on at work today as well as when I got home. I logged off and tried to get back to the page and haven't been able to since=(

I was on no more than 2 hours ago, and everything was working fine, and I've tried getting into the MySpace forums, but nothing myspace-related is working, (except when I type in the address of a specific profile, then I can go to the profile, but I can't view anything else like pictures). Well, I feel better now that someone else is having the same issue, which most likely means that this is in fact a glitch, not that I'm surprised. It's just frustrating.
