As of today I am totally over myspace!!
I AM VERY IRITATED!!!!! here's my problem,
I really *crosses fingers* hope someone can give me some real solutions to this problem.anway heres my mini drama story:
Yesterday I changed my old email address for my myspace.
I received the conformation email,ect ect...
Futhermore, I tried to login to myspace and it didn't let me. then after the third attempt it said the following:
"Too many failed login attempts for this email. Please enter verification code." I did the procedures but I am confused as to what the next step is. so no help there.
S0 then I tried contacting "myspace customer service"
OMG!! WHAT A JOKE!! I emailed them with the same complaint
8 times!!! and I still havent recived any replies, its been 4 days!!!!
I also tried to find my email address but it said:"
Sorry we weren't able to find ______________.com " on MySpace.com,
which made me even more upset ,because I had just finished changing my email address.
All of my information is correct I dont understand why it keeps doing this! can someone help me fix this?!
oh I was also wondering if there was anyway to resend the email conformation link to my email, so I can possibly start over.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that even if you change your e-mail address, you must still use your old one to log in. Myspace sends all your notices, newsletters, confirmations, etc. to your new e-mail address, but you need to use the old one for logging in.
At least I'm pretty sure that's still the way it goes. Myspace may have changed that, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it, eh?
no everytime i put in my old email addy, it says:
"You Must Be Logged-In to do That! "
so it did change the old email addy, to my new one
but i can't login with my new one.
im so annoyed with myspace!!
Sadly you've been mislead somewhere down the line radio!!!! When you change your email address you are also changing the email address that you use to sign on. Logically if you think about it, there's only one area that asks for your email address and there's not any way to put in two different email addresses.
BTW...I know this to be true, as I change my login info constantly due to a stalker!!!!

Haha. I only thought that you needed to use your old e-mail addy because a friend of mine changed her e-mail address on myspace and it would only let her log in with the e-mail address she registered with. However, that was over a year ago, so maybe it was some sort of weird glitch. Or maybe she managed to do it wrong, somehow. Hah. All I know is that she still signs on with her old e-mail addy, and she gets all of her notifications on her new e-mail.
Don't EVER e-mail Customer Service. You will NOT receive a reply in a timely matter, and your reply will most likely be irrelevant to what you even asked.
I've changed my email address before and it did take some time, like weeks if I remember correctly, for it to change to my new one.
I would recommend closing your browser and re-opening it again and try the whole Myspace thing again. See where that takes you.

how do i close mt browser?
um click the little x in the upper right hand corner. browser means what program you use to look at the net, like internet explorer or firefox.
I think eventually the new email addy will show up in searches
