On our get Myspace when it's blocked page we describe several ways of getting to Myspace when it's been blocked.

The methods range from using Firefox to proxy services.

You can also see how to get Youtube.com when it's blocked.

This can be the official thread for other ways of getting to Myspace or YouTube.com when it's been blocked.

Wel that is cool info but still you must follow the rules if they ban those sites then don't risk your job or career on thoose motive. Play by the rules and don't offend the administrator because he'll know and he'll find out what you've been up to

Re: Get Myspace at school when it's blocked

I know that i am a complete noob to this site. My only purpose of registering is to set a few people straight. Many people have offered suggestions of getting past the web filters some of them good ,but the vast majority bad. I have noticed that the most usual and logical way has been bypassed more efficiently than the web filters. I am not going to tell you a proxy that you will have to find on your own.

1. find a proxy, this is most convieniently done at home because you are not blocked. do not search for proxy sites you will be searching for proxy ip numbers and their ports. the ip is something like 0.000.000.00 although it may not have the same number of digits. The port will be a two or four digit number. The most common of which is 80, but 3124 3127 and 3128 also work. on google or whatever your search engine might be type in proxy lists, or fresh proxys. Something like that should get you what you want.

2. When you have found a list of these proxy ips and ports you need to start trying them. This can be quite tedious but after a while you should be able to take an educated guess
and get them faster. Hopefully guys are using internet explorer the most common of all web browsers. personally i'm using flock right now at school bypassing the filter. Go to tools>internet options>connections>then click LAN settings. (If this did not work for you then go to near the end of my tutorial where i will explain what to do.) There you click the bullet to use a proxy and type in or copy and paste (if you have a brain) the ip in the left box and the port in the right. then click ok and click ok again and if it says anything else click ok and you will be ok. now try going to a site it does not matter if your home computer is blocked, because if it is working there then rest assured you have found your working proxy. if not try this again with a different proxy numberset.

3. write it down and go to school do the same thing at school hopefully at school you will be able to go to internet options if not sit in for my later steps after this one.

4. so it didn't go to internet options at school huh. (if you are reading this it didn't work remember?) ok, hopefully you can download. go to mozilla.com and find the free firefox download. firefox is better than i.e. so don't worry. Ok so download firefox and install it then try getting to internet options with it and use your proxy. hopefully this worked Wink

5. if it didn't work then you will need to download it at home and install it on a flashdrive that works on the school computers. i would tell you exactly how but my school period is over and i must leave the computer lab Wink if none of this works then you will have to try a different technique

Easy way we get MySpace at work. This also works at school

My job doesn't allow us to install anything extra so we can't install FireFox. We use proxy websites to bypass the work filters for MySpace and YouTube. For those that don't know what a proxy website is, it is a website that allows you to enter a URL (such as, "www.MySpace.com") in it and go to that site. The firewall (filters) at work or school think you are going to a site it has never heard of therefor does not block it but in reality you are going to MySpace, YouTube or wherever other site you want.

Back in high school, we use to always use v-tunnel or c-tunnel (google it).

It use to bypass all the school blockage. LOL there were alot of mad kids because we only kept the secret between the friends.

Re: Getting Myspace at school when it's blocked

I'm not sure if this will work for most but there are virtual drives you can set up on a flashdrive that run as if the flashdrive "IS" the actual harddrive... it works for some...

You can search for these programs. one is Moka5 the link is--> http://www.moka5.com/ its free but you have to install a full operating system on the flash drive.

Another is Mojopac, the link is --> http://www.mojopac.com/ And its a small install, but costs around $50 At least there is a trial so you can see if it will work for you first...

I prefer Mojopac because of the fast loading times, but the main idea is that while your logged onto it, everything you do is stored on the flashdrive instead of the computer... It actually becomes the computers hard drive... Hope it helps...

Re: Getting Myspace at school when it's blocked

Well.
I attend tafe and i went through a lot of websites to find a proxy.
And the other day i finally found one, but today it got blocked.
I wasn't going to post it up because you do realise most of the proxies that you do write up on a forum and so on, people do read.
Schools have someone that go through forums to find these proxies that you post and they block them, they aren't stupid.
And they know that we aren't stupid enough to flick through a few forum pages to find a good proxy, which will be found and blocked. So i advize to stop posting them up. &just send them to my Myspace Laughing out loud haha. www.myspace.com/suckit_x
but anyway, www.bebo1200.co.cc worked for me a few days ago, but now it doesn't.
Try it out, it should work for some atleast.

Help browsing Myspace with Webproxy

Hello Geeks, first of all excuse me if this is not the correct subforum to post my request, but I need Geek help for this problem and maybe its very simple to solve but I cant find the answer, I try and try but no luck.

The problem is this: when I browse a Public Myspace through a Webproxy (for example the one I use much is www.spysurfing.com) and I try to load next Comments or Pictures pages, it is, pages number 2, 3, 4 etc, they wont load and I always get a Page Not Found error.

Its like the Webproxy cant run whatever script Myspace uses to change to next pages. And this happen to me with each an every Webproxy I have tried out there.

I have searched for help in other sites but I must say all of them are lame, so please help me Geeks you are my last resort.

I must point I use Firefox browser and like I said this is for reading Public Profiles, I use a Webproxy just to add an extra security layer.
