Getting Myspace at school when it's blocked

On our get Myspace when it's blocked page we describe several ways of getting to Myspace when it's been blocked. The methods range from using Firefox to proxy services. You can also see how to get Youtube.com when it's blocked. This can be the official thread for other ways of getting to Myspace or YouTube.com when it's been blocked. I'm not sure if this will work for most but there are virtual drives you can set up on a flashdrive that run as if the flashdrive "IS" the actual harddrive... it works for some... You can search for these programs. one is Moka5 the link is--> http://www.moka5.com/ its free but you have to install a full operating system on the flash drive. Another is Mojopac, the link is --> http://www.mojopac.com/ And its a small install, but costs around $50 At least there is a trial so you can see if it will work for you first... I prefer Mojopac because of the fast loading times, but the main idea is that while your logged onto it, everything you do is stored on the flashdrive instead of the computer... haha well...my school blocks anything...im surprised youtube isnt blocked...but ive figured out the most genious way...myspace mobile...it thinks your on a cell phones internet...when your auctually on the pc...use this link and its sure to work on ANY pc Re: Getting Myspace at school when it's blocked

If you really want to take the time you can set up an Onion router on a usb drive and turn the computer itself into a proxy. What it does is it uses the localhost to encrypt the data that the computer is sending out, the encrypted data will bounce around a few other Onions before the request is decrypted and processed then its encrypted again and sent back to you where the localhost will decrypt it. Its really a bit much but if you really love myspace then thats the way to go. http://www.torproject.org/ It takes a bit of set up but like I said, if you really love myspace that much go for it. my school uses a program called netsweeper i waswondering if their is a way of getting around it i have tried alllllll the proxy anomyizers that i can find and everysingle one is blocked i have also tried such things like instead of www.myspace.com i used www1.myspace.com things like this didn't work. plz plz plz plz help. Hello Geeks, first of all excuse me if this is not the correct subforum to post my request, but I need Geek help for this problem and maybe its very simple to solve but I cant find the answer, I try and try but no luck. The problem is this: when I browse a Public Myspace through a Webproxy (for example the one I use much is www.spysurfing.com) and I try to load next Comments or Pictures pages, it is, pages number 2, 3, 4 etc, they wont load and I always get a Page Not Found error. Its like the Webproxy cant run whatever script Myspace uses to change to next pages. And this happen to me with each an every Webproxy I have tried out there. I have searched for help in other sites but I must say all of them are lame, so please help me Geeks you are my last resort. I must point I use Firefox browser and like I said this is for reading Public Profiles, I use a Webproxy just to add an extra security layer. Proxy servers for myspace at school

Just to let you guys know also that bess isnt implemented into the browser it runs through ISA server 2004 or 2000 and the skool just sets up a proxy for IE to go through so thats why you really cant get around it unless your skool is dumb and has another unfiltered proxy for the teachers Quote:Bess blocks all the

Bess blocks all the proxies too. not necessarily. You see if use an encrypted one if lets you bypass it. an example would be https://flyproxy.com/. An easy way to find them is just to look for the s after the p in http:// to make sure you've got a secure one. Also you can use it to get into your webmail account, I.E. type in https://gmail.google.com instead of http://gmail.google.com or, yahoo, or whatever else you use. I have a question, if there are multiple people from one office looking at your myspace profile and you are using a tracker…will they show up with the same ip address? It is showing up like that so I am trying to figure out if they were using the same computer or if the whole office shows up as one ip address. It’s kind of important…thanks!!! There are a number of proxy servers that you could use to get to the site you want. However, if this is at your job, I would advise against it to save trouble for you. However, with websense, if you search proxy servers, it will most likely blocked that. However, if you find a foreign name for proxy server, it won't block that. Kproxy works but not everything shows up and pages get all skewed... how to gain acess to blocked websites

At my job they use websense which is hard to get by....Can't download ANYTHING including Firefox. It wouldn't let me open any page with the word proxy, for fear of "proxy avoidance"..However i have found a way to set up a circumventor page. It's not he most secure but it will do.
