myspace and internet exlporer HELP!!!

I just looked at your page in IE and Firefox and saw no problems aside from slow loading. There's a lot on your page and it took some time to load and I have broadband. Are you still having a problem?
"I'm just like you only shorter."
Did you use the MySpace Profile Editor? And do you have any trackers? I had a problem where something the Editor did "behind the scenes" conflicted with a tracker code, and I learned my lesson to never go near the Editor again.
The only way to fix it was to go back to the editor in IE, hit "Clear All" and save, then start over without the Editor. If this will help you, first do what Pat said and make a text-file backup of all the coding you want to put back.
yes i learned my lesson with the profile editor when it first came out and i had the same problem and i too had to start all over... what a pain!!! yes i am still having the same problem only the backround and music shows up and nothing else... honestly i have no idea how long it has been like that either cause i always use Firefox LOL
thanks all i will let u know how it goes
wooohooo i got it... it was the myspace profile picture slider!
thank you all again
You probably have too much stuff on your page. Firefox will block alot of the "excess baggage" on most pages (adds, etc) so that is why it will work in Firefox probably.
You may need to take some "extras" out of your profile. Especially, your about me section could need some "trimming." (EDIT: hey, it may not necessarily be the about me section--but usually works for me to trim it down)
You want to make it viewable in both browsers as you probably know. your viewers could be using either one.
hey pat.. thanks but it is the same stuff thats been on there for almost a year nothing new.... i get nothing on there it, no writing at all.. isn't that weird... is there anything else it could be?
Yes that is weird. I don't know what exactly it could be. A way to troubleshoot this (and it may take alot of time) if you haven't already tried this:
Make a backup of all the html coding in your profile.
Make a new profile and place the codes into the new profile one by one, and check out the profile in IE each time you place a code in. Eventually something will make the profile not appear--and then you will know what the "culprit code" is.
I hope this works
