Yesterday, i was looking at a profile and the date of "last login" [in the profile where the profile piccie is] and the date of "profile last updated [where you search for that same profile and the search results tell you] was the same date.
So i went thru the profile and couldn't see what was updated/changed. So i wondered whether the 2 terms are exactly the same i.e. last login could be the same as profile last updated or different i.e. the terms taken literally.
Today i looked at the profile, last login had changed to today's date but the profile update date was yesterdays. I still cant see what was updated/changed yesterday. I did concur that both terms are to be taken literally, but i just cant see any evidence.
My question is, apart from scrutinising the profile by sight i.e. questionnaire changes, added blogs, pics, etc, what else can possibly make a profile be updated [so as to make the myspace feature say it was updated]?
does anyone know? replies aprpeciated.

No, last login date is not the same as profile updated date.
I'm not exactly sure what's considered "updating." I know if they change default pic its considered updating. If you change anything on the About Me section its considered updating. I think if you change anything on the Edit Profile page (stats, co., schools, etc.) will be shown as updating. I'm not quite sure, but I dont think anything to do with blogs/profile music/deleting pics is considered updating.
It's possible that they might removed something you might not have noticed or they probably didn't update their page at all. I think even if you dont change anything (like add something, but delete it again) it'll show as updating.
Maybe they added an invisible tracker code into their profile perhaps? Check the "view source" of the page and look for a tracker code.
