My group not showing up in the search results!!??

Please Please could someone shed some light on this matter!

I created a facebook group a couple of days ago it's for a photographic exhibition I am holding in a couple of weeks. Although it doesn't show up in the search results when someone searches for it. This is really frustrating because I need people to be able to find it to find out more details about the show.

The group is public and I believe all my security details should enable the group to show up.

The group is titled "UNBRANDED: Photographic Exhibtion"

Has anyone heard of this happening before? Why is this happening to me?

Please help ASAP!

or maybe facebook is just slow in updating their group areas to show newly created groups ?

The group still isn't there andthe group I created is not searchable either so I think you are right on this one

After a few days I would imagine it'd be there, but yeah maybe it is being slow. I made a group earlier to see how quickly it would be on search and its not as yet.

I tried to find your group and I couldn't find it either.

I'd say check that all your settings are viewable to all and nothing is limiting its showing up in searches or anything else. If its still teh same and you don't have many members make the group again and see if that helps.

Otherwise contact facebook and see if theres a solution they can offer.

I will havea look for you to see if I can shed any light on this now for you and will get back if I find anythign useful.

Thanks guys,

Checked again today and still no sign of it in the search results.

Been about 3 days now since I created it!

Really irritating me now!

I have contacted facebook twice with no reply as of yet.
