Im sick of hem hacking into my e-mail, social networks, and hes gonna do it no matter what i tell him. I want it to stop, so i had to create new accounts that he does not know about, so i can have some privacy. but Im still worried and bothered that he might figure them out.
my ex keeps hacking into my e-mail

WHY are you ALLOWING this to continue??????
Call the authorities and press charges.
If he was to go into your mailbox and open your mail, would you allow that?
If he went into your bank and looked at your information, would you allow that?
If he went to your doctor and got information on your health, would you allow that?
Yes make new email, networks, etc.with passwords he couldn't possibly figure out (mix up your 'normal' one, put it in backwards)...but CALL THE AUTHORITIES!!
Geez...why do woman roll over and allow this to happen??? I don't get it.

Trust me... "going to the authorities" isn't always easy or helpful. I have someone breaking into my email accounts (I have the IP and all since it's gmail) and not only breaking into it, but taking screenshots of emails and sending them to other people in my life. Essentially making my life a living hot place downstairs. Yes, I've changed passwords, reformatted all my computers the whole nine. I currently change my passwords to EVERYTHING every other day (a HUGE pain in the A-crooked letter-crooked letter)
I digress... I live in a huge city... the cops really could care less. Sure they'll take a report, but it stops there. And granted, I do understand there are murders happening that need to be looked into, so *shrug* I'm stuck with an IP of my hacker and a headful of passwords.
I wish you the best of luck. Keep those passwords HARD. I make up a sentence and use the initials of each word. Find a way to use special characters, at least one uppercase, and of course numbers! Good luck and godspeed!
it IS ridiculas. i had the same problem with a stalker. not much you can do. maybe thats why id theft is so easy now. (apparently) i guess thats why she knew she could do it.
That is bad for you I hope you get him to stop. Have you confronted him ad told him its illegal?
Also if he is breaking in via answering your secret questions, i'd say put in wrong answers you will remember. For example for birthday put a date thats a day, month and year ahead, secret question answer with an answer that does not correspond and put in a slightly different postcode.
I'm not sure but it may just help.
Get some proof. Then press charges. That should stop him.
Well if he doesnt know about them, he probably wont be able to get into them.. unless he's installed some kind of keylogger software on your computer. Do you have antivirus/antispyware installed and up to date on your computer?

Its the crappy security they put on password recovery
YOUR Email = YOUR Everything
Secure your email, when they ask for security questions use something that only you know
I change my password's every 6 months
Its common sence
I don't even use my real birthday on password recovery, all my passwords and recovery details stay on my flash drive that's always on my neck
