Music Download Sites

Could someone please suggest a site to download music. My friend asked me if I know of any that are safe and inexpensive. She will pay because she is worried about virus's, but needs it to be cheaper than itunes. Any ideas?

I think Napster would be fine if you're willing to pay...

Limewire doesn't cause viruses... it happens when people disguise a virus as whatever you wanna download and you end up opening it thinking it's what you downloaded... 

*puts mod hat on*

We don't condone illegal downloading here, and do not permit discussing stealing music. If it's copyrighted music you want, there are plenty of pay-sites available like Napster, Rhapsody, iTunes, etc...

If you're going to pirate through Limewire, make sure you have a good anti-virus program, and make sure you scan every single file before you open them.

haha, that is the same one I told her to try, but her husband will not let her use it because he heard that it causes viruses. I have;t had any trouble with it though.

It does cause viruses! Don't use LimeWire! I'm getting Napster soon....

I didn't have any trouble with it. If you have anti-virus software on your computer you should be fine.
