To add to what tuna said also when you start a new thread your picture will show - like it did here:  hey all

When you comment on someone else's thread your pic will not show up (that helps makes the site faster).  As you can see our pics don't show up here either (because were commenting only here).

no need to be confused, IM'ing on gug is part of the premium membership benefits. as it relates to your gug profile pic, it can be seen when one clicks on your user id: niebr90

 Click on Forums.  Then you will see the instant messenger on the topish right side of page.  Don't give up!

ok im starting to think that this could be a browser issue or somthing cuz i really dont see anything at all on the page when i click on forums on the right side or anywhere on the page that looks like or says instant messanger

 If you do not  delete the comment you received (choose the bottom comment to delete), then you will find that you have about 3 to 10 of the same comment.

 I sent you the hello, but will refrain from sending you anymore until you figure it out....don't want to fill up your page with comments.  Smile

Top right corner of page. If you don't see it, click on Forums and you should see it. I'll send you a hello so you can practice.

 Forgot to add:  Click on the down arrow, find the name of the person you want to instant message, type in your message and send it.
