So, since this is a long weekend for some of us, what are your plans? Grill outs, ballgames, fishingSmile???

I'll be doing some yard work. I love gardening, so it's not too bad. I'm sure I'll grill out at my parents and toss back a few.

let's see. husband flew home last night. woot! been at one of my nieces wedding's since ten o'clock this morning. one niece graduated this past thursday. two other nieces flew in from denver for that, and for the wedding (different niece entirely). two grad parties across the street (ie: block party) right now until midnight some time. next week 2 nephews graduate and one more niece. it has been raining like mad here......so fricken cool! and snow up north. very rare considering monday was 112 then weds, thurs, and fri was 68-72 rain, rain, and rain. love it. prememorial day pool party at my home tomorrow afternoon. boating all day monday. then time to rest up tuesday thru friday until next weekend's grad parties and gatherings.

Well, until around 9:30 this morning, I thought I was leaving for a week's vacation this morning.   However, best laid plans and all that happy crappy bus, Enterprise managed to frack up our car reservation, so now we can't leave until Tuesday.  Yay.  So, instead of being in NY from Saturday until Saturday, we're going Tuesday to Monday.  Tonight, we're drinking.  Tomorrow?  Dunno.  Monday, I'll see if my Dad can pick us up, and we'll go see a parade and hang out at the VFW afterwards.

Its raining here, and is supposed to rain till Tuesday. Yippee....blah~! That pretty much puts a damper on everyones plans around here.

I'm also doing a bit of yard work (planting grass in our front lawn!), but it's mostly a cookout weekend. We have cookouts everyday with different people this weekend. Eek! I think I'll be all cooked-out by Monday Wink

 Hey Everyone, may the GuG website stay safe and lightning free through this holiday weekend and i have a feeling Hubby is wishing this very same thing! Seriously, everyone, stay safe and have fun! we will be cooking out and my husband will start the garden while I supervise! My daughters will be around and my son is always up for a cookout! Seems like the kid can eat a half  dozen hot dogs!..juliek ps what a beautiful boxer, ayotoya! one of my favorite breedsLaughing

We are just hanging out and doing nothing much. Since were getting ready to go away on a big family trip its more like getting ready now for it...ugh

We use to do big family BBQ's and Pool Parties but my brother's son died on memorial day years ago so we kinda stopped the family things and now just kinda veg on that weekend.

yes I agree be safe and have a great one!

My son has a ballgame today. Other than that.....we're just gonna BE LAZY!!!!!

Wanted to go somewhere, but have decided against it,since it will probably be slammed anywhere we decided to go.
