Making background image stretch to cover whole background

Hey,

I have looked but can't find what i am looking for. I want to use an image I have online and use to as my background for a profile. It comes up small with a background colour all around it but I would like it to stretch to cover the whole background.

I have tried enlarging the picture and uploading it again but it makes no difference.

 Anyone know how to do this?

You need to adjust the height/width of the image to cover the entire area you are working in

ex:

<img src="YOUR PICTURE URL HERE" height=1280 width=2000>

Thanks I got itdone. Now its onto making that ugly music player look better... do tehy make it hard on purpose? lol
