Little red "x"ed out picture boxes

Little red "x"ed out picture boxes

So while at work, there are many sites that are blocked out and that I have no access to. Luckily GuG is not one of them, YET anyway. I notice that while on this site and many other sites (including yahoo) that any pictures that I should be able to view are x'ed out and a little red x shows up in the box where the pic should be. Any way to overwrite this? can i change options somewhere to allow me to see these pics?

Your employer is filtering out content.  Mine does too.  Among other things, I cannot view MySpace pages or view pictures hosted at Photobucket.  Photobucket pictures are left with the red X placeholder.

Like stevie said your network administrator has the ability to block photos from specific websites. Although I wonder why they wouldn't just block the site altogether. I believe there are ways of sneaking around these sort of blocks from articles/posts I have read, but nothing legitimate. So I guess it would depend on whether your willing to risk ticking off your employer to see these blocked images or just wait till your home.
