Do you like Miley Cyrus?

No, but not because of that nude photo. I don't see why people are blaming the photographer when Miley has half a brain/knows enough to refuse. It's not like they cuffed her and forced her to take 'naked' photographs, and god knows people freak out about child sexuality all the time in the US. I hate to break it to ya, America, but a significant number of teens (young ones, you'd say) are doin' it. That's just how it is. It'd be better if you spent your dollars on sex education instead of trying to freak them out, because they'll just go and do it anyway.

That said, why do these pictures surprise anybody? She's had several 'provocative photo' scandals - posing in her underwear, showing off her boobs, kissing some dude, and making out with some girl. I am sad that I actually know all this.

Miley Cyrus freaks me out. I watched an interview with her on YouTube once, and she sounds like a forty-year-old chainsmoker. It's also pretty disturbing to see a teenager with the mannerisms of somebody in their late twenties. I was really surprised when her career exploded, because...why? Then again, that sort of applies to all of Hollywood.

In conclusion, Miley is really annoying.

Eh. that's all I can say. Do I think her show is annoying? yes. Her music does have positive messages, but if my daughter did the things she does on her show, I would slap her silly.

 My daughters love miley.  I really don't care much for her music.  When they play it, it gives me a major headache & I have to go in the other room.  I'm not into the rich/preppy preteen music thing, & I never really was when I was a preteen.

I think she dresses and acts appropriately for her age. She is far more conservative than the chicks I see at the local high schools!

my daughter likes her music, watches her television programs, she puts on a great concert for tweens, and her clothing line is a big hit with that age group as well. for now, she is a wholesome role model. in time, i hope to see that remain the case. as it relates to her "appearance, attire and makeup," that's just part of the industry. how she develops her talent into adulthood will be interesting.
